Publisher's summary

Single mom Maggie Hayes puts up a tough front to hide her loneliness, spending her days in the courtroom as a lawyer and her evenings as a closet video gamer. Another heartache isn't worth the risk, not after her husband left her last year for a Hooters waitress.

When she decides to try dating again, a cute video-game-designing nerd seems like a safe bet - until he becomes the prime suspect in a murder.

Jeremy Rogers makes a good living designing video games, but nothing prepares him for the real world adventure of being accused of poisoning his own employee. Add in falling for a sassy attorney with a competitive ex-husband, a clingy blonde coworker, and a mammoth-sized dog that eats his furniture. Suddenly, fighting off a screen full of zombies or preventing an alien invasion seems like child's play.

Maggie and Jeremy find themselves embroiled in a game of death threats, lies, and betrayal. Maggie must learn to trust again while playing the most dangerous game of all, because defeat could mean not only losing her heart, but also her life.

Great Read

Easy Like Sunday Mourning by Jennie Marts was a great read. This is book two in The Page Turners series. Maggie is a single mother who decides to try at love again after a cheating husband. She didn't expect her new love interest to become a prime suspect in a murder. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I can't wait to read more by Jennie Marts.

I absolutely loved this book. From the murder to the bear to the comi con to so much more. You think the store must soon be over and something else big happens. Such an amazing well written book. And don't get me started on Edna...definitely my favorite character out of all of them!!!

LOL FUN COZY MYSTERY, GREAT BOOK :)

This is the first book in the series I've read/listened to, and I LOVED it! I admit, I'm most into horror/scary, post-apocalyptic, zombies, etc so this was a very nice a refreshing break from that, I love laughing my a$$ off while in my car commuting to/from work, I got some interesting looks :) This was a great, fun, lovely book about a lady named Maggie, a single mom and attorney. While reluctant to trust and begin dating after her husband left her for a Hooters skank (LOL ;)), she meets a fellow gaming nerd, Jeremy. They get into all sorts of messes, and it's a great entertaining read. I highly recommend it, it was so fun to read :)

Loved. Every. Minute.

First off, I seriously loved the narration of this book. This story was all over the place (in a good way) and Glemboski brought the humor, the intensity, and the intrigue. She really was awesome.

The story was a great cozy mystery with a "WHAT!" whodunnit. I loved Maggie and the Page Turners, her book group. They had some Miss Marple elements going for them. That was a treat.

This was book two in the series. I missed book one but I don't plan to miss any others.

What a hoot!

This book is great fun, sure there's murder and attempts at framing and scrumbag ex-husbands, but overall the book is fun and inspiring.

The character development is a major win in this book, they're realistic and the book sees Maggie doing a lot of self-discovery and growth, it's thrilling, touching and wonderful to watch. The romance in the book is lovely, Jeremy and Maggie have great chemistry and I loved that Jeremy was persistent and yet patient, who wouldn't want to meet a man like that?

I loved all the twists and turns, whenever it looked like things were going well a wrench would get thrown into the mix and excitement followed. The mystery was well done, it wasn't obvious and was well constructed.

The narration is excellent, I loved the character voices, they were clear, easy to recognize and matched the characters personalities. The tone and pacing were great and I really enjoyed listening to the book.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

Loved it!

Excellent cozy mystery with a touch of romance. Maggie is dating a new guy after her ex cheater husband threw her to the curb for a Hooters waitress. As she begins to believe that all men may not be cut from the sam cloth a murder occurs at his gaming company. Jeremy is the prime suspect and as Maggie tries to believe his story more accusations and secrets cast him in suspicion. Enter her ex husband and her book club friends and the mystery reaches a head and they begin to investigate, nerd style. I really enjoyed this book, which was wonderfully narrated with funny and entertaining characters. I look forward to more! Easy Like Sunday Mourning

The Page Turners are at it again! Maggie is finally ready to start dating again after her no good husband had left her for a Hooters waitress. A computer nerd who designs video games should be a safe choice, right? Maybe not... especially when there’s a murder.

Check out this cozy mystery for an engaging story, great narration, and lots of humor (I love Edna!).

Bears in the Outhouse

Bears in the Outhouse
The opening was a beautiful back-to-nature scenario which rapidly turned into a delightful farce, abruptly interrupted by . . . murder. Okay, you already knew this was a cozy mystery so that should be no surprise or spoiler. And if you enjoyed the first book in the series you'll remember many of the cast of characters. But if you are starting with this story, they are each introduced and any relevant tie-ins from book 1 are explained as you read, which is useful to remind you of who's who even if you did read book one! Ensemble cast with a different lead character for each episode means the series premise is sound. The development of clues and cohesion of the team is delightful, and there are several surprise twists and plenty of action for a camera, or even the radio drama narrator Jennie Marts' flexible voice creates from the script. Humor, mystery, romance--enjoy!

Love the Page Turners!

This is the second book in the fun Page Turner series. Each book follows one of the book club members. This story is about the whip-smart lawyer, Maggie. Maggie's ex-husband left her for a younger woman and in order to cope, she relies on her book club friends and the escapism of online games. That's how she meets her new love interest, a fellow gamer named Jeremy. Just as Maggie's life is moving forward, her ex-comes crawling back (ick!) and a member of Jeremy's staff is mysteriously murdered. The book club ladies need to solve the mystery!

I love the Page Turners series because of the friendship bond between the ladies in the core group. The author balances humor and light moments with a well-crafted mystery. Highly recommend for fans of humor, romance, and cozy mysteries.
