Since then, she's lost her mother to cancer and watched her sister marry twice, while Chelsea has become one of the most talented fundraisers for the American Cancer Coalition, and with the exception of one annoyingly competent coworker, Jason, her status as most successful moneymaker is unquestioned. Then Chelsea is forced to acknowledge that her life stopped after her mother died and that the last time she can remember being happy, in love, or enjoying her life was on her year abroad.

Fun read

Publisher's Summary
Ryder Copeland is an accomplished architect...not to mention tall and sexy. He's everything a hero should be, and Lord knows Maisy Kelly has read enough of her great-aunt Eloise's romance novels to recognize one when she sees one. But like all fairy tales, Maisy can't help but wonder if this Prince Charming is too good to be true.
Ryder is drawn to the shy, curly-haired professor who hires him to convert the Victorian house she's inherited into a bookstore. Attracted to a woman for the first time since his divorce, Ryder finds himself wishing for a future with Maisy that he knows is impossible. And the closer he gets to her, the harder it's going to be to walk away.

A Lighthearted, Fun Read!
THE GOOD ONES is a wonderful read! It is a near perfect Valentine’s gift to the reader and to the genre. From Ryder and Maisy’s wonderful “meet awkward” to the glimpse of Perry and Cooper’s “first love”. I laughed out loud. I may have shed a tear or two , but I am sure that was my allergies acting up. OH, the cherry on the top of this wonderful treat! There’s a Kitten! A little orphaned baby cat who works its little feline magic to heal “his” humans and helps create a family.
