this book was such a surprising delight! i loved all the characters and the unexpected directions it took

Truly enjoyed the journey!

Definitely a page turner. i didn't know whatvto think of the narrator's voice at 1st but it grew on me and made for an exceptional adventure.

I cried when it was over

It started off rough for me but gained momentum. I absolutely loved this series. Beautifully written.

Balance is everything

A beautifully written story with characters that seem like you’ve met them in real life. Wonderful woven, intricacies that shift through out always leaving you question. Not the same old good bs evil and that’s what makes it amazing

Great Character Development

Loved these books! You see how far the characters fall, and then watch them rise even higher. So much growth and such a good storyline, too. The first book took forever, but if they didnt give so much detail to how her mind works, you wouldn't have understood the choices she made or how far she came. These books both broke my heart and made it swell with joy.

The main character is a little whiney, but overall it’s a great story. I really like that all the books are in one file.

truly addictive

This series was absolutely amazing. The main characters growth is remarkable and her relationships build slowly throughout the book. It shows how good can become evil, how 'evil' isn't always what you thing, and the price of balance.

Couldn't aultip listening! Very unique story, with yeasts I didn't see coming. The narrator did an excellent job! if you are into paranormal/sci-fi with a little romance added, this is for you

A new game is a foot

This is my first Kel Carpenter book and man, what a doozie. I loved the characters. This story is a mishmash of crazy things; exciting things! Supernatural teenagers. Family drama. High school angst. And…. Fighting. Haha.

Selena is a powerful, sort of selfish, out of control girl who doesn’t Lebowski to handle her temper and ability. She’s a bomb waiting to go off. And the academy is her last resort. The last place she may have a chance to get her life under control.

Boxing may be just the outlet she needs to get the building emotions and powers in the bag. And for a time it works. Boxing allows her to work it off. Plus kicking butts is always fun. Add to that a hunky, southern boy, who not only understands her, but tries to help her.

Lucas is her saving grace. Her new best friend and the reason she may walk away from the bad things coming her way. And boy howdy, those troubles are coming in hot with both barres ready to go.
