Was like listening to William Shatner perform. Choppy. Emotionless.
But the world, and contrived situations are fun

All four books, one credit

I enjoyed listening to the series. I really would have liked to have more of an epilog. I was engaged through the series in the action. I felt the ending was rushed and it seemed many loose ends exist. From H/h relationship to friendships etc seem to have left enough open ended for more in this world. I also am not sure the h decisions at the end of the book make sense to ne for someone who spent so much time fighting for good. All in all, I don't feel I wasted a credit. I just think there was more that needed closure.

The narrator, aargh!

This audiobook shows the importance of a good storyteller. So, the plot was fine, but with a bad narration. The problem is that the main character is already kind of exhasperating. Then comes a narration with all the wrong entonations, and, boom, it all gets from bad to worse. The one who was already annoying starts sounding like a petulant teenager. In the end, if I were to read one book at a time, I probably wouldn't have gone past the first one.

I felt like the narrator had no emotions. Almost returned the book in the first hour and debated it every time I started the book when I paused

good read

narrator is a bit stiff. some characters it fits well. not so much with feeling heart felt characters.
story was well conceived and ended.
