Excellent resource

Social anxiety happens in different ways for different people, and it can be extremely debilitating when something that seems like it should be easy because everyone around you is doing it so effortlessly is extremely difficult for you. It doesn't make sense how someone can be so competent in some areas of life but seemingly clueless in other simpler areas. Anxiety is a real mind killer. This book is great because it addresses both the emotional and intellectual causes of social anxiety, which allows for real comprehensive advice about how to fix it for people like me.

Very Helpful and easy to follow along with.

I really enjoyed listening to this and am able to make many connections to my own life. It covers a wide variety of subjects and surprisingly many I could identify with. It gives a few ideas on how to better yourself.

The narrationnis well done, easy to listen to and this is one I can and will listen to again

No matter where you're at in life this book provides meaningful and practical advice for anyone looking to achieve a more balanced lifestyle. This is especially important in today's culture that is consumed by social media and instant gratification.
This book is a step-by-step guide to help you overcome anxiety and depression and other brain health problems. If you’re suffering from any kind of negative and harmful thoughts, just remember all of these problems can be solved.
This book came around when I needed it most. 10/10 would recommend.

Very good!

Thank you to the author for giving me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The book was very good! I wish the entire book would have been focused on the implementation of social skills strategies given instead of only the last section because having two psychology degrees I felt like I already knew the background information. However with that said, some of the information presented gave me some things to think about should I have the desire to try being social with others in the future.

So well organized with lots of discoveries.

This audiobook could help you or a friend. We all know someone who needs to overcome such anxieties. This book has lots of discoveries and was a beautiful eye-opener to me. My favourite chapter was chapter 10 - Coming Out of the Silence Zone. The narration is smooth throughout the book, and I found it such a fulfilling listen. A compelling book that you need to add to your library.

Insightful!

This is a great tool for anyone struggling with social anxiety. It's got great practical tools, and a ton of compassion. I think it'll make the reader/listener feel less alone and empower them to make some positive changes. Excellent narrator too. Recommend!

Wish I had this earlier!

I wish I would’ve had this book in my 20s. I definitely have a shy disposition and tend to be quiet in a group. It’s taken me years to work on that I still feel like I could do some improving and it will help my personal life as well as my professional life.

I enjoyed this listen it was well researched and thought out. There are definitely some things the author covers that I’m going to work on improving in my daily life.

Great information!

I found this book to be well written and informative. It discusses all the different ways one can feel anxious and how to notice these different ways and also how to deal with them. Great book for anyone wanting and needing a way to start helping themselves with their anxiety.
