Good, but a Little Misleading

Ryan is a great story teller, which I am sure comes from learning doing his podcast.
The blueprint is pretty sound.
The problem is, and Ryan is not alone with this narrative, it about getting to $1M in SALES a year, not actual earnings.
Most businesses operate on thin margins, especially with physical products. So $1M in sales === ~ $40k in earnings.
Of course the real payout is if you can sell the business in 24-36 months for real capital.
You will still need to work about 3000-4000 hours a year. But most business owners do that anyway.
The thing I felt Ryan missed was breaking down cost of goods, support services, advertising & marketing, fees and taxes. Would have like more about actual numbers to lend more credibility to the plan.

Practical & to the point

Ryan is just a rule model, love his attitude and mindset about business and happiness.

In 2021 there is so many platforms and marketing strategies but it’s so important to keep your eyes on the important things and focus on audience and the basic KPI’s that will actually move the needle.

Good book

I liked that it’s helping you by giving you pointers, but it’s about products not just opening a business like a store. Like yeah you can use these points for that but it only talks about products you make. I don’t like that it talks about what the book is going to tell you in what feels like the first five chapters. Like dude get to the point already! Decent book though good to listen to.

This is by far the best audiobook I have listened to in 2020.

This is the blueprint to product launching for 2021 and beyond. I will surely purchase the paperback and use it as a study guide.

I’m already listening a second time!

I’ve been reading or listening to at least one business book per month for over a year now and I’m almost done with earning a BS in business management. Of all the material I’ve covered, this may be the single most valuable piece of literature so far. Ryan breaks down the step by step process he and his students have used for proven success. Other books I’ve read have said bits and pieces of what you’ll find here but this really ties it all together. I’m literally about to start listening to it a second time as soon as I finish writing this review! I have some ideas I’ve developed as I listened and now I want to listen again with these ideas in mind. Today is day 1!

Great in all senses!

Honest framework to get to $1M and beyond. The book is focused on ecommerce primarily but you can model some tactics for infoproducts or whatever thing that implies a brand building.
