Awesome content

How incredible it feels to love and trust myself for the first time- this book gave me that gift. The Intuitive Eating Workbook is required reading for anyone struggling with food, body-image, disordered eating, and tricky self-esteem.

Solve the problem

I found that I can measure and record every bite that goes into my mouth, carefully avoiding things I really like, OR I can eat what I want, stopping when I'm no longer hungry, and eat anything I want. What freedom!! Life is so much easier. I actually weigh about 3 lbs. less than I did when I was driving myself crazy. I think dieting is the problem and not the solution.

Life- Changing

I enjoy food thoroughly, I'm completely in-tune with my hunger and bodily cues, I never crave food or feel deprived. I'm 26 now, and I weigh what I did when I was 16 and starving myself. Except now I'm perfectly healthy and HAPPY. I wish I could go back and time and give this to my sixteen-year-old self, this program would have saved me a lot of grief.

Helpful book

This book helps us understand deeply how and why we eat. It dispels the shame around dieting, exercise, and body image and helps us reconnect with our bodies and the pleasure of food. A must read for anyone struggling with these issues (which I imagine is many of us in our current American culture).

This is an excellent resource

This is an excellent resource to bring the powerful ideas of Intuitive Eating into accessible, everyday practice. Intuitive Eating allows us to reclaim our ability to trust ourselves to respect our own bodies, freeing us from the constraints of diet culture. I love this book personally and recommend it professionally as a psychotherapist.
