Enjoying an Opportunity to be Understood

This book is truly my first step into self-help, self-betterment books. I appreciated the tonality of Geneen throughout the book, as it made the material softer to digest. As the book began, the listeners were able to walk along side the women at the retreat, and to close out their stay along with the book was a tasteful touch. By the end of the work, it was comforting to know that other women feel controlled by something so readily available to us. Whether we are permitters or restricters, the book calls our attention to our inability to live in the present because we are focused on past pain. This was amazing! Thank you!

To much cussing , book wasn’t any help! Don’t recommend it! It was very long and boring!
