Funny and delightful bundle

This is aimed to those who love the genre. If you are here looking for a mystery book, this bundle is not for you.

But if what you're looking for is something that will let you with a smile in your face, a clean and funny story with sympathetic protagonists, a bit of romance, and a light and easy read, go for it! You will fully enjoy these eight stories =D

And the performance by Lainie Pahos is spectacular, as good as we are used to get from her.

Recommended for those who love the genre.

Light read/listen

The book is about Meg who is a witch but doesn't want anyone to know. She was a sleuth but was wanting to quit. There is a murder and she was drawn in again. Her boyfriend is a police officer which allows her to get into investigations. She doesn't use any magic...strange. If your a sleuth why not use magic to help find the perpetrator. It was a light read/listen. The books are short but enjoyable. The narrator does a fair job at the narration. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I loved all 8 books

I couldn't wait to listen. I would listen for hours at home driving my family nuts because I was tuned out of them & then I would start it immediately as soon as I got in the car. There needs to be more books in this series. Conner must find out Meg's a witch and be super cool with it. Maybe not at first, but comes around & loves to use it in his sluething. Oh and by the way, This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

A lightheaded cozy with some romance!

This was a new series for me, so I loved getting to dive in to many books at once because the story could continue on! The main heroine (Meg) is a fun, realistic & engaging character with spunk! This is a lighthearted series, so don’t worry if you see “witch” it’s more of a fun aspect than a serious one. This is a clean cozy, with just enough romance sprinkled into the mystery! The narration is well done & Lainie brings the characters to life so well! This book was provided to me for free & I voluntarily left an honest review.

Great Series!

This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. The narrator did a wonderful job with this book. The narrator did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end. If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

This set consists of the first eight books in The Witches of Enchanted Bay series; Witches of Enchanted Bay, Ax To Grind, Killer Twist, A Bewitching Murder, The Nuts and Bolts of Murder, A Riddle of a Murder, Strangling Ambition and Therapy Can Be Murder. This series follows Meg and her boyfriend Connor investigating many murders in the small town of Enchanted Bay. I loved this series and can't wait to read more by Amelia Morgan.

Witch Cozy Mystery Eight Book Set

The stories are all short, fun and sweet. I will say with this being a witch series, I did expect her to have more powers/spells. And the use of magic is very minimal. With this being a boxed set and you not listening to the stories more spaced out you notice that most of the stories are very similar. I would have loved to see more range in the writing and the murder cases, perhaps just a mystery. I look forward to more of her work in the future!
I enjoyed the voice of the narrator I think she did a nice job. As the books go along you will notice more and more issues with the audio, in the beginning it did not bother me(and their were fewer issues), but by the end of it(they were more frequent), it was rather annoying. Thinks like repeated phrases, clearing her throat, and in 2 of the books scenes were cut short(you missed the end of the chapter). I feel sure these were editing issues, but wanted to mention them.

Really did not like these

Sadly I did not like these. Managed 2 of the books. The stories seemed identical and told in the same way.

The narrator's voice was irritating; or maybe that accent is just not for me.

I didn't like any of the characters; and felt the author was just capitalising on a winning formula for other authors.

Nothing good to say sadly.

recording not so great

The naration was good. but needs more polishing in the editing . as quite often it rrapeted itself and could tell it wasn't cut.

The rest of it was great
