Arvind Ethan David is a producer and writer of theatre, television, comics, and films. In theatre, David is a lead producer on the 15-time Tony-nominated musical Jagged Little Pill, based on the renowned album by Alanis Morissette, that opened on Broadway December 2019. Additionally, he is the producer of legendary British comedians, David Baddiel and Erran Baron Cohen’s, The Infidel – The Musical, based on their hit film of the same name, for which he also wrote additional lyrics. In television, David is writing on Neil Gaiman’s Anansi Boys for Amazon, co-creator/showrunner of Knights of the Borrowed Dark, based on the award-winning and best-selling series of Irish YA novels by Dave Rudden, and is adapting his and Mike Carey’s Stoker nominated comic series, Darkness Visible, for Intrepid Pictures (Haunting of Hill House) and IDW Entertainment (Locke & Key). He was also Executive Producer of the acclaimed BBC America/Netflix series Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, starring Elijah Wood. David has produced eight feature films, including the British hit comedy, The Infidel, and The Garden Of Evening Mists for HBO Asia which received 9 nominations and was awarded a Golden Horse Award. In addition to Darkness Visible, David is currently writing a graphic novel for Ted Adams’ Clover Press called Gray that is a reimagined, modern, feminist take on Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray. David is Principal of Prodigal and a partner in projects with Hatch Escapes, the minds behind Lab Rat, voted the top escape room in Los Angeles. Together, they raised $235,000 dollars on Kickstarter to launch Mother of Frankenstein; a table-top, Escape Room in a Box game inspired by the life of Mary Shelley.
