Did not like the ai voice it was very poorly read.
The reading is about what a third grader would do. I didn't enjoy all the double read portions and the incorrect enunciations.

thought it would be weird.. it's not
I enjoyed the boos very much. the virtual voice was pretty good. it had issues with things like a 38 special gun. it said a three eight special. also the lack of inflection on some words was a bummer. all round the books were enjoyable for sure. the voice needs work but again not a deal breaker at all. as a matter of fact I'm listening to another right now.

Quirky town folk
The AI voice pronounced some words so oddly that it was kind of like doing a verbal jigsaw puzzle before understanding what happened. Especially since the words arent right in front of you to spot what went wrong.

I can't do AI narration
The stories were good. However the AI narration ruined the rhythm of the books. In many instances when the final line of a chapter is a clever remark, or significant to the story, there should be a pause. But the very next second. AI says, "Chapter X (whatever)" then a pause. The main character was Mercy, and AI said Merci. Lots of bad pronunciations and rhythm. Anyway, I didn't like it. Even for free, I won't listen to anymore AI. A bad human is infinitely better.
