Rook Walsh appeared out of nowhere like a dark angel sent to steal my soul. And I could just tell that she was broken, and beaten, and scared. So I made her an offer of a lifetime. She needed a job and I needed a certain "type" of girl for a modeling contract worth millions of dollars called Tragic. I was warned to keep my hands to myself. I was warned not to get involved. I was warned not to ruin her. (The way I ruined the last one.) But I don’t take orders - I give them.

Sex, lies, and videotape...
As described, J.A. Huss delivers a dark suspense novel that pulls you in and makes you desperate to discover the truth behind all of the lies. All three of the main characters battle demons and lean on each other as a means of getting through the pain.
I would classify this book as erotic suspense. The sex scenes throughout the book are copious and graphic. My only issue with this tryst of three lovers comes down to implausible suspension of disbelief. JD and Ark perform and tape sex acts in public places. The girls who appear in their videos are vetted to include contracts, drug screens, and STD checks. The "show" doesn't go on unless the girls are clean. When this duo comes upon the heroine she immediately falls into bed with both of them and they engage repeatedly in unprotected sex. I found it hard to believe that they could be so careful with all of the porn actresses in their videos but not with the heroine who they find barefoot, scantily clad, doped up, and on the street. She could have been a walking STD for all they knew about her.
With that said, the story itself was unique and suspenseful. It took a long time for all of the truths to come out of the shadows, but the reveal was great.
The narration was excellent. I've listened to many books narrated by Sebastion York and Ava Erickson and they make a good team for this story. Ava was great intoning and differentiating the male characters thus making the dialog very easy to follow.
At the end of the audiobook, J.A. Huss recounts her process of Three, Two, One. She talks about the inspiration for the book and how it evolved over the 42 days she spent writing it. It provided insight into the story and added to the listening experience.
Definitely worth a credit.

Wow I don't even know what to say right now. I'm in shock I think. Shock and mourning. Shock that it was so incredible and totally mourning the fact that it's over. Great story with deep Characters, amazingly hot sex, mystery, and more, all while pulling on major heart strings. I can't even pick my favorite thing about this book as I loved the whole package. Wonderful job JA Huss, and you picked perfect narrators. Major kudos! Thanks for the bonus too 😉

Absolutely amazing story!
I have listen to hundreds and hundreds of books in fact , I don't hardly ever watch TV! I have to say this is one of my top five favorites! The love, the devotion, the darkness, the screwed up heads all make this story so compelling. A must read in my eyes, but if you don't do dark and think life is all sunshine and roses this is not for you. If you see life with it's good and bad, sunshine and cloudy days and most of all love a good love story with mystery and drama then grab it and enjoy! You

Listening to this story ( That I already love) brought it to life for me.

The depth of emotion really brought the story to life.

Mind-blowing!
What made the experience of listening to Three, Two, One (321) the most enjoyable?
The amazing narrators of course!
What other book might you compare Three, Two, One (321) to and why?
I haven't listened to another book like 321 before so I have nothing to compare it to.
What about Sebastian York and Ava Erickson ’s performance did you like?
Sebastian York is one of my automatic one clicks. His voice is rough and sexy, perfect for an alpha male character.
This was my first book narrated by Ava but it will not be my last. She gave each character their own voice and really made you feel like part of the story.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Jaw dropping
Any additional comments?
I loved everything about this book! It is definitely a darker read with a lot of erotic scenes. It's steamy and it will break your heart before putting it back together again. Not for the faint of heart, so if you're looking for a HEA wrapped up in a nice bow this might not be for you. If you're looking for something unique and different though you'll love 321.

A Part of My Soul
I read the book 4 times and having now listened to the incredible Sebastion York and Ava Erickson narrate it, I can say hands down this always be my favorite story. Nothing can trump the feelings the audible version evoked. I knew these characters intimately before. Hearing their words spoken Ark, JD and Blue are in my soul now. The story came to life and I could sense the longing, conflict, lust, love and desire. I understood them and got more information that was hidden by hearing them speak. My heart beat faster with every chapter. The sensuality, heat and true eroticism came through in ways that you felt part of the scene.Julie Huss is a master storyteller and bringing it to life in this manner is a mind blowing experience.

Wild Steamy Journey
If you could sum up Three, Two, One (321) in three words, what would they be?
Intense, Raw, Gripping
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved Blue. She is delicate and fragile yet incredibly resilient and strong.
Which character – as performed by Sebastian York and Ava Erickson – was your favorite?
Sebastian York's interpretation of Ark is excellent.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes and no--
Yes, in terms of the riveting story, and no because I am not sure that my heart could take the increasing intensity of the plot tension and foreboding.
Any additional comments?
After having read the teasers for J.A. Huss’ Three, Two, One, I was surprised at the beginning of the novel. I had to re-listen to the first bit to get my head in the right place and let go of my presumptions. Then it hit me. Rethinking the teasers and page one, I internally screamed, “Noooooooo”!
J.A. Huss has done it again; I took her bait, and she reeled me in like a catfish for a Friday night fry-up.
Ms. Huss has written another fabulously suspenseful erotic novel. I couldn’t put it down, and I didn’t want to finish it. I knew before I got to the end that I would be re-reading this book in order to soak up all the little details that I undoubtedly missed in my anxiousness to learn what happened to Ark, J.D. and Blue. J.A. Huss has an uncanny ability to build in just the right amount of tension in her stories to produce the effect of a pot that is perpetually on the verge of boiling. The reader knows there is something bigger just under the surface, but no one is privy to what that something bigger is. The characters hold secrets close to the vest and the reader only knows what the characters share with one another. Just about the time the reader is ready to start chewing finger nails, the story explosively culminates like a pressure cooker blowing its lid.
Throughout the story, details of the main characters, Ark, J.D. and Blue are slowly leaked out as they get to know one another better. It is a little frustrating, but good things come to those who wait. The secondary characters are not overly developed, but they're understandable and serve their purpose as antagonists, foils and supportive protagonists. The line between good guy and bad guy/sinner and saint was hazy at times and that added to the mystique of that underlying “something bigger” and made me question who were the true protagonists in the story.
The book starts in present day and then jumps back to the main characters’ first meeting. Based on the first page, I thought the story would be told only from one character’s point of view, however, the story is told by both Ark and Blue. I found it very interesting that although the story has three main characters, the multi-POV story didn’t include all the main characters’ perspectives. The exclusion of J.D.’s POV was a brilliant decision that greatly benefitted the story tension and mystery. Three, Two, One includes interesting commentary on society, truth and redemption.
I would love to go into more detail of the quotes I enjoyed or plot points that I didn’t like, but this is a story best appreciated when starting the story knowing nothing about the plot (so avoid reviews with spoilers). In the end, all is revealed. Nothing about the ending resembled my presumptions based on the teasers or the first page of the book, however, it was a very, very satisfying ending after a very wild and steamy journey.
NC-17 content. Not suitable for readers with heart conditions or delicate sensibilities. Perfect for andrenalyne junkies or fans of intense suspense and erotica.

You've never read one like this.....
If you could sum up Three, Two, One (321) in three words, what would they be?
amazing, suspenseful, hot
What did you like best about this story?
How about everything! JA Huss has a gift to weave a story that you never know where or when it will take a turn and yet it's always the very best in the end.
What does Sebastian York and Ava Erickson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
They both did a great job giving these characters voices. You can almost feel like your in the room with them.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Several actually, when they first bring Blue home and she says "I can't feel safe unless I'm surrounded..." Later as Ark is trying to figure it all out after the video shoot, "That seals the deal, we're not one, not two, we're three....." and of course the ending, but I can't give that away.... :)
Any additional comments?
This is so worth the price, it will suck you in and keep you enthralled until the very last.

Avoid this book
Would you try another book from JA Huss and/or Sebastian York and Ava Erickson ?
I don't buy books based on the performance, but I've heard several of Ava Erickson's books and she is great. Sebastian York has a great voice.
Would you ever listen to anything by JA Huss again?
Absolutely not.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
A couple of early scenes are sexy, if you like threesomes, but the characters are shallow, the story is not engaging, and the book overall is just tragic (though I had to stop listening it was so bad -- the first time I have ever not finished a book).
Any additional comments?
I purchased this book based on very positive reviews on a "top ten" or "top romances" list. I don't understand how the book received positive reviews.

Three, Two, One, My Soul Has Burst
Where does Three, Two, One (321) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Where does this book rank? One of the best books that I have listened to by far. I usually do not like audiobooks but JA Huss is definitely changing that for me.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Asking me who my favorite character is, is like asking me who my favorite child is... Just kidding but Blue is my favorite character because she is just so heartbreakingly real to me.
What does Sebastian York and Ava Erickson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
They definitely bring the story to life that you don't expect from the book at all. It doesn't sound like they were reading a script. It was like they were actually a part of the story.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, I could if I had the time. Thankfully I did because I had surgery so I have been laying in bed listening to it.

Sado masochism at its best
I cannot believe this book has so many five star ratings. Admittedly I haven’t listened to the whole thing but that is because I had to stop halfway through the first chapter since all it was about was a gang rape. SO not yet cup of whatever.

Something different, dark and romantic
Just reread this book so must share what a great read it is! Completely engaging storyline. Characters are gripping. Lots to twists and turns in this story.
Two best friends running a porn channel. They find her in an alley, running away, beaten and starved. They take her home and then this unusual love story begins.
I'd highly recommend. Not a predictable read. It's an unusual love story and your not sure till the end of there is going to be any happy endings. It's a one off story and your not left in suspense or it's not a story cut short when your left to find out from the next book in line. This is always a bonus!
If you like JA Huss you'll love this story. Happy reading!

mind opening book
What made the experience of listening to Three, Two, One (321) the most enjoyable?
amazing story, characters. the naughty scenes are mind opening but it is the love story that ties everything together.
What other book might you compare Three, Two, One (321) to, and why?
I listened to over dozens of rom com books and adult fictions, and none of them can compare to this one. A must read.
Have you listened to any of Sebastian York and Ava Erickson ’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Sebastian York at his best. and Ava Erickson was also very good .
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
the ending made my heart squeeze.

Ridiculous!!!
The story is so absurd and the characters are flat. The sex scenes were horrible but not the worst aspect of the book unfortunately. Two guys who would NEVER get involved with a drug addict find a girl on drugs and fall in love with her instantly and then she moves in with them that same day. The only redeeming aspect of this book is the narration. The two narrators are amazing.
