I’m so confused. So much weird information

Sad that I must wait even longer

I feel that the retelling of the first book being the fourth book, and the fifth book being a retelling of the whole series was just done in bad taste.

I understand that the plot is about to converge in a huge way between the two series, and our lovely author needs time to wrap up the series is a meaningful way. I would have gladly waited years for the ending of the series is she needed it. I don’t need or want the meaningless filler books that would have been fun side stories AFTER the series was completed.

And if there HAD to be a filler book as Ms. Willa’s diary, at least make it her actual diary… and a short story. We didn’t want the 20+ hour info dump. I saw no reason for it.

I’m just sad that I need to keep waiting for the conclusion of my favorite series. :(

Not a Fan of this BOOK Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

What in the world?!!! We didn't need a recap of books 1-5 with a interview of the characters from JLA. This is ridiculous and was just a way to earn money from the readers because we are dying to know the end. Instead, you end it with this POS!!!! Not happy you stole from us. Way to go, JLA.

Interesting concept. But not exciting to read

This is not actually an new information really. Just a retelling of the book series. Not worth purchasing

Disappointment

I been waiting to see what happened to just find out it a stupid recap of the stores? I wanted the actual plot and story to start. not a old hag tell about

Preordered and duped-Beware!

These are cliff notes. Why were we not aware of this before purchasing. Extremely disappointing. Don’t buy it!. We already knew this information,nothing new. No need to repeat it again. I loved the series, but did not like at all. I feel ripped off. Waste of time listening.

Not a real book. I want my money back

I feel like a wasted my money. I love the writer but I have read all the books so I really didn’t need a book to summarize the other 5.

Disappointed and disillusioned

I’m not even done listening and I had to write a review. PLEASE NOTE: THIS BOOK IS LITERALLY A RETELLING OF THE 2 series…and to boot it’s dauntingly repetitive. You hear the same stories and descriptions over and over…and over again, of all the books, from both series! Honestly, I think real fans of the series wouldn’t find a book like this necessary at all.

Very repetitive

I was super excited for this book to release, The story is very repetitive and not a lot of new story dialogue. I felt very bored with this book. Mind you I do love miss Willa’s POV but the content was okay.

Terrible book… and I love this series!

This book, in an otherwise wonderful series, is awful. I am not even finishing it… and I’ve listened to the others multiple times. It almost seems like this was written by AI. It is merely a poor summary of the other books, which I already know (and love) so well. I always get the audio version, and even that reading (normally so good), is lackluster. I was looking forward to this next novel, so I’m really surprised at its low quality. I have never left a bad review before, but I’m so disappointed, that I feel like I must share. I’m not kidding when I say, it is a rather poor synopsis of the other books. I suppose that could be okay for someone unfamiliar with the story line. It is so unlike Jennifer’s other (great) work, that I wonder what happened. I hope she’s okay and seriously wonder if this was computer generated through AI. I hope the next book in this series is back on track with her typically engrossing writing style… If you love Poppy and Cass like I do, I would suggest waiting for the next installment in this series.
