Publisher's summary

Aliens meets The Terminator meets 12 Monkeys in these explosive novels, which Amazon readers describe as “the definition of page-turning science-fiction.” Contains books 1 and 2 of the Earth Epsilon Wars series.

Arriving home after a harrowing tour of duty on a hostile alien world, USC Sergeant Matt Reeves has just learned the enemy - an insidious humanoid species known as the Wraith - may be preparing to attack Earth again. A widower with a nine-year-old daughter, Matt doesn't need any reminding of what’s at stake. With much of Earth still in ruins, and its military forces stretched beyond capacity fighting an interstellar war, there is no way mankind could survive another invasion. Teetering on the brink of defeat, the United Space Command is desperate to find some form of leverage.

Enter The Emissary Program.

Matt learns the USC have been secretly experimenting with time travel to alter the outcome of the war - and they want him to be their next guinea pig - sending him back to Washington DC, 48 years before the invasion. His mission: help a small team of scientists locate a brilliant virologist, whose work may hold the key to eradicating the Wraith from existence.

Can Matt and his team successfully change the future and save mankind? Or will they learn the Wraith have already altered the past and won the war?

If you enjoy gritty military sci-fi, high-stakes alien invasion stories, and smart time travel thrillers - all with flawed heroes and nonstop action - you'll love The Earth Epsilon Wars series.

great story terrible ending.

I understand leaving a cliffhanger so people buy the next book but this was ridiculous. there is absolutely no closure at the end of this book. You will be left completely unsatisfied by the way the story ends here. Overall the book was really good if you ignore the greed of the author implemented by the way he ended this portion of the series. In summary, this feels very unfinished like he just quit writing in the middle of the book

Left me wanting more!

Very entertaining and well written, well narrated! Normally I prefer military sci-fi, but this book got me hooked right away! I also normally don’t go for time travel stories, but this has a delightful “flavor” of a 1940s film noir or mystery. For sure now, I will be looking for more books by Terrance Mulloy!

World War Wraith!

#1. The year is 2065 and the war rages on. In 2052 the aliens, known as Wraiths retreated to their home planet Epsilon. In 2054 we established the United Space Command (USC) and went after them. Since then, it has been a miserable battle, expensive in both monetary and human toll. Our scientists continue to reverse-engineer the Wraith’s technology, improving our forces beyond belief. Our former policeman from the prequel, Matt Reeves is now an SFC in the USC. We follow Matt and his team as they perform covert ops on Epsilon. Accomplishing their mission, Matt could finally go home, being away for six years including a four-year tour on Epsilon. Getting no rest, he was immediately tasked with another mission. This time to covertly retrieve Dr. Rossiter, a scientist the USC wanted badly. Unfortunately, the parameters of the mission were well beyond anything Matt could have imagined.
#2. Matt has been assigned to a team to assist in carrying out the mission. Together with his teammates, it is a simple matter to retrieve Dr. Rossiter; or at least they thought so. Unknown to the team, there was another interested party monitoring their every move. Under intensive tutoring, Dr. Rossiter begins to believe why the team is here and what it is they want him to do. Unfortunately, the interested party, who turns out to be Wraiths, interferes and ruins everything the team had accomplished. Matt struggles to put some of the pieces back together. Whether he manages to do so will be in the next volume.

Cliffhanger with no other books

When they say “publisher pack” entire series (liars)
and these are the only books available to read (0.5, 1, &2)why is there a cliffhanger…… at the best part of the entire book, making us want more…now we will never find out what the bleep happened. I am extremely unhappy about this.😡🥺
With that being said, the book was really really good…. So much so that Id like to know what happened.

What a book!!

Just as the story gets going it slowly ends. There were so many places in the book where more could be written. It was hard To see the Book end.
