The Expansion: Publisher's Pack includes Recon, book one, and Contact, book two.

The universe is expanding, and so is humanity’s reach.

Years after clean energy ended the world’s reliance on fossil fuels, a lull of peace encompasses all of humanity. Some think we should travel to the distant corners of the galaxy; others oppose the idea, thinking that the harnessed singularity reactors are unnatural.

When a terrorist group attacks the Lunar colony, members of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force are divided as a result of the incursion.

Years later, Lieutenant Commander Kyle Torres comes face to face with old friends, as he’s thrown into an assignment that could change everything: a reconnaissance mission with huge implications for humanity and science alike.

This was a great duo of books. Intense actions, hints of romance past and present. The characters all had solid goodness with a hint or history of mistakes. The bad guys had the same, just a little more of the bad.

There strong female chapters as well as men. Various ages and ethnicities greet readers. There is a bit of swearing, but most is done in fun, like a newbie on deck keeps slipping up with simple swear words in front of the new Admiral, while another newer ensign is helping the same general when a huge surprise comes across their view screen, and the general is silent while she starts out to say, " What's the fu....." but she realizes who she is with and comes out with, "What's the fu.....nction of THAT?"

I am now looking for more stories hopefully written in the series!!

Exciting, High-Energy Earth and her Future Empires

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

the story sort of leans heavy on introducing magical new tech and software to keep the plot going.

the narrator uses the EXACT same voices from other books. Its distracting and hard to absorb the EXACT same voice.

It's merely OK.. not amazing not terrible.

Weapons were well design and imaginitive
Author took a funny swipe at Skippy, the sarcastic AI Beer can.

Saying that, even with all of the super tech, I note the absolute absence of AI & AI controlled weapons systems.

Also, I'm wondering, like the Valhalla commander, what on God's green earth would make them give a full data dump of info on humans, star maps, and earth. The only thing I could think of is that it was corrupt info.

Thrilling joy ride through space

These both were great. Starting off with a beginning on the moon & an attack leading over to exploration of the vast space along with upgrades to armor, weapons, and galaxies…

Great Stories!

Entertaining story and good enough that I’ll listen to the ones that follow. However, the narrator should be replaced. Too many of the male voices sounded like comedic impressions of east coast mob bosses. Hard to tell one voice from another. Many of the other voices were slight variations of an impression of a Texas cowboy drawl. Very distracting.

Great story, distracting performance
