spaceballs meets predator

Total spoof on other storys. Thought it would be terrible but enjoyed every part. Its like alien vs predator mashed with spaceballs and recast a Marine platoon as the crew of the milenium falcon and hired Mel Brooks to direct the movie. Loved It! And added William Shatner and Lenord Nemoy to throw in to the mix after hiring John Cleese to be the voice of the computer on the Enterprise

This is the Best read, moves fluently and has laughs as well as drama... Sir Charles a nut!

Different but fun and very interesting.

Great take on emp. Fantasy. And military. Lord Charles is my favorite. Worth the time and makes you want part 2.

Great Book

The narrator is RC Bray so enough said. This book does not have a lot of new ideas in it but I still enjoyed it thoroughly and will be reading the next. It starts out with stargate, then your standard any book world take over, then its skippy down to hold my beer. If you don't know skippy I'm sorry. Skippy got stretched through to many books so when it was introduced in this book as a different device it made the book.

Great Adventure

Though at times I felt my mind was conjuring up the “little beer can” from another series, this new adventure from different authors is worth the time and commitment to listen. Wonderfully narrated and smartly scripted, it provides the necessary distraction to daily life and conjures up the creative juices better than most movies on the screen these days. Ready to listen to book 2!!

Excellent story and performance

Of course this book is worth listening to if you like military space sci-fi. There are some clear references to other stories such as the pompous British AI. So it’s not totally fresh, but definitely rocks. Last 12 minutes are unique.
