Sounds crazy!

I have to admit, the idea of cold showers sounds so uncomfortable I almost didn’t want to read this. But I was curious how this could make such a difference in anyone’s life, other than saving on heating bills! Jesse makes a great case for trying this icy idea. Now instead of crazy, it feels empowering!! Definitely a great listen!

Wow amazing

Just finished this book and I am on day 4 of the cold shower challenge. I got immediate results from day 1. This book provides fantastic grounds for why you should try cold showers and has inspired me to do this long term. Thank you!!!

A quick inspirational guide to start change

I loved the author’s passion about the subject, and his drive to motivate others towards the same purpose. Although the information presented is nothing new or groundbreaking, Jesse Harless does present it in an honest and fun way.

Good information...

There is very little objective information that I can find about cold showers on YouTube and elsewhere nor are there many books. This little book provides the first real numbers that I can work with, in particular how long, how cold, and several different styles of shower. Most other sources out there are very subjective, which doesn't help me really since I have been taking cold showers on and off for six months without having any real numbers to work with. My simplistic method is simply to shower warm, since soap is much more useful in warm water, then go straight cold for five minutes (I keep a stopwatch in a sandwich bag in the shower) to end my shower. My last cold shower was 2 minutes at 47 degrees F. I started last Summer at 5 minutes with tap water at 65F. As Winter came on, full cold dropped from 65F to now lower than 47F. With the info in this book, I now know that five minutes at 47F won't be a physical problem if I can stick it out mentally (I haven't yet, 47F is really cold). Thank you Jesse for concrete info, I do appreciate it. And the encouragement is welcome too.

Game changer for stepping out

This book takes real practical activities to help you step out of your comfort zone and start your day with zest and energy. So far I have done 2 days of the 30 day challenge and I can tell my energy is rising. Looking forward to the next 28 days. Jesse’s story is full of compassion empathy and drive that I could totally relate to. Even though I don’t have a drug or alcohol addiction. I have my own vices that I want to eliminate. Like procrastination and fear. This really is being me to face them and move forward. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants a leg up or to just get out of bed and live the life they dream of. Thanks Jesse for your honestly. Humility and compassion.
