Impressed with the suggestions on self-discipline!
Keeping yourself under control is made a lot easier when you follow the guidelines in this book. If you put your mind to it, you can do nearly everything. You just need to understand how to focus and concentrate on the right things to accomplish your goals. With more self-discipline, you can even make new goals. I highly recommend this book, especially in audio form because it can be played on any device you like, tablet, phone, laptop or computer and if you really want to, you can play it through the speakers in your car through the audio system if you're a true "books-on-tape" fan and have the proper equipment. :-)

The hard work is worth it
I have been working on becoming a better version of myself, and with that means learning to break a few poor habits. I have been struggling for a long time to break these habits, and I have found that a lack of self discipline has been at the root of all my troubles. This book offers great suggestions for improving your practice of self discipline. I loved the chapters on willpower, because that is definitely an area where I need extra help. I've found that re-listening to specific chapters when I feel weakness has only strengthened my resolve to change my behaviors.

Improving Your Self Discipline Quickly and Easily
What made the experience of listening to Self Discipline the most enjoyable?
I loved the flow of this guide. I felt empowered by the language and the strategies included. These are great takeaways for everyone, not just those struggling.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Self Discipline?
I enjoyed the strategies for harnessing your willpower and using it to your maximum benefit. They're quick and easy tweaks, but they make all the difference.
What about Joshua Mackey’s performance did you like?
His voice was engaging and soothing. He made everything sound interesting, I don't think it would matter how boring a topic could be.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me think. It made me analyze certain parts of my life and think hard about what is important.

You Can Do Anything!
Would you consider the audio edition of Self Discipline to be better than the print version?
You have the power to do anything that you put your mind to if you just will it to happen. Most people, myself included, feel that bad things always happen A friend recommended this book to me and it has changed my whole outlook on things. I now know how to make a difference in my own life without relying on anyone else!

If you could sum up Self Discipline in three words, what would they be?
Willpower, Achievement, Goal-Reaching
What did you like best about this story?
The section about eating the appropriate foods was really eye-opening. I thought motivation was purely a mental-game. But it appears that I can stay more motivated by watching my diet!
What about Joshua Mackey’s performance did you like?
He's a very clear speaker, and manages to sound enthusiastic over the whole book. It doesn't sound like he's reading from a script either.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Yes, but neither of those. It really made me want to get up and do something! I actually started putting into action some of the items on my bucket list because of this book!

If you're struggling to start something like getting a project off of the ground, going to the gym, or starting a new activity, you owe it to yourself to get this book! You won't regret it!

This audible book was not very long, and contained a lot of interesting and different information that kept me committed to listening to the entire story at once.

In this book you will learn not only how to gain self discipline, but you will learn how to increase your self esteem, and guides you with good habits for having effective self discipline. It will ultimately help you to live more efficiently and become more successful.

You are the only person who can steer your life in the direction that you want, if you are really struggling with ganging control in your life or if you need some advice on how you can become more active in chasing your dreams, then I would highly suggest this title to you.

What did you love best about Self Discipline?
The book was very easy to listen to. It gave great information on how to practice and develop self discipline and how to use it in every day life.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Self Discipline?
The part about creating a positive self image was probably the most important part of the book. Without the positive self image, it is impossible to develop self discipline.
Which scene was your favorite?
I enjoyed the discussion on techniques and the interesting exercises given that help you develop self discipline. I believe that understanding these techniques and practicing the exercises will help me to become more self disciplined and more successful.
What insight do you think you’ll apply from Self Discipline?
I will remember that success takes three things. They are influence, will power and self discipline and the information in this book will help me to use all three of them.
