What the Critics Say

"Parenting is possibly our most rewarding and challenging task. Amber Hatch provides a wide-ranging account of how mindfulness and compassion can support and enrich parenting. She writes from a depth of knowledge and experience, and with a fluency and skill that makes the ideas accessible and useable. "Not for me, but certainly for other people"
What would have made Mindfulness for Parents better?

The author lost me right at the beginning with her "natural birth at home" story. To me it sounded way too woo-y. If your into the whole "natural is best" thing, this is for you. If you are looking for a secular and more scientifically explained approach to mindfulness (like me), it's not for you.

Has Mindfulness for Parents put you off other books in this genre?

Not entirely. If I want to buy other books from this genre, I will just have a better look at them first. I bought this on a whim.

    Any additional comments?

I just loved the reader's voice and accent!

    "had some good points"

had some good points to follow however I struggled to stay with the narrator at times as her voice was quite monotonous.
