This is Rick Hanson's BEST book yet!

I listened to the whole book in two days.

Somehow the author(s) has managed to synthesize all of his best teaching and put into the pages of this book.

Resilient, is my new favorite book by Rick Hanson.

How To Do Life - (Listen to this Gem)

Amazing book. I just finished and I am already reviewing my notes each day to keep it fresh in my thoughts. I’ve had a year of therapy due to life stresses and had learned a lot about mindfulness, meditation and wise speech. It probably primed me to be so receptive to this book, but anyone will get so much out of this. The author/narrator was incredible. His voice was calming and encouraging and energizing. Each morning on my walk, I looked forward to listening and learning as I took notes. Thank you, Rick Hanson for keeping me on track. Definitely a book to listen to again and again. Well worth the credit.

Being mentored by a loving old friend.

This book has made me have some A-ha moments and has shifted my perspective in a lot of ways! The narration feels kind and loving like the author has known me my whole life and wishes the best for me.

Powerful, soothing guide to equanimity

Rick helps center your mind and relieve your anxiety and stress. His HEAL steps required me to listen a few times as it takes practice to step through each phase of healing your mind. Fantastic pace and neighborly tone that makes listening enjoyable.

I appreciate the author chose to read his own book. Rick has a wonderful balance between the very practical, the scientific, and being visibly human in his writing and presentation.

Nice organization

The book content is great but i most appreciate part of the book is the index. It is well organized with actual chapter title instead of just "chapter 1" like most audible books do.

Very helpful when relistening a particular chapter, thank you!

Dense with good points.

The book is full of pearls, to get them all one has to pay attention the whole time. I tend to drift away... the voice of the author made me drift away too, so relaxing, I could not stay focused.
