The use of student quotes and real life examples helps to make the content relatable and easily applicable to many different contexts. This book would be great as a reference for anyone looking for an accessible, comprehensive model of leadership. We all have one, so all should have this book!

Honest, compelling and emotionally engaging, this book is a very well-written story of a lifetime journey of learning to deal with so many problems that life throws at us. It is filled with “learn-from-my-mistakes” stories and advice that I find refreshing and entertaining. This book will stay with you long after you have finished listening it.

A truly helpful one for me!

This book is a godsend for me. As an educator I am constantly surrounded by other educators who excel in the academic but not in emotional intelligence. As this book discusses, it is best when IQ and emotional intelligence are more on par to be harmony.
I often focus on getting things done and not mindful of myself or in tune with others and their needs.
I plan to relisten and look forward to putting more of this book in practice so as to reap richer and stronger relationships, to enjoy life’s journey and those around me. The bonus book is a plus and a definite complement.
