    "Excellent Western Romance!"

I LOVED this story! The romance is very well developed and the sexual tension was hot! The story and the narration were both passionate, intense and very interesting. I can't believe that the rest of the series is not available. Please add more books by this author!!!

    "Love the story"

The story is great. The performance was good. Only struggle was getting used to a softer man's voice from the narrator. But didn't take away from the story.

    "Totally enjoyed this novel. "

Good writing, only heroine deserved to be spanked on several occasions and very disappointingly wasn't.

    "Enjoyable, But. Weak Plot and"

The Rancher Takes a Bride is very, very sensuous, not like a triple X rating, but it is continuous R rated. Sylvia McDaniel writes these scenes extremely well. If her character motivation and her plot was half as well done, I would have given this 4 stars. There is so much sensuous scenes that the plot drags. This book was on sale for a couple of dollars and it was a good deal for the low price, but I may not buy another from this author. Rose's voice was whiney and Travis' mom was too snooty. This may be the fault of the writer.

    "The Rancher Takes a Bride"

This book does not have much storyline. It is all about sex, or almost sex. I wish there was a review or rating system so one does not waste their time or money on books like this. Sorry.

    "predictable"

The story seemed to keep repeating and there was not much to the plot. Rose was so forgiving of everything.

"The narration sounded as if it were computerized"

If I didn't know any better, I would say that the male voices were spoken by a computer. The story wasn't very memorable either. This one is not worth a credit ... or the time necessary to listen.

    Story
"Can you tame a grumpy cowboy?"
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes, if they were into western romance without gunfire and explosions.

What aspect of Robin Rowan’s performance would you have changed?

Robin has a gentle whisper toned voice that made the female character sound a little like a simper, the male character voice was good but more strength of emotion in the story would have been good.

Do you think The Rancher Takes a Bride needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No, Travis finally made the right choices at the very end and I could not go through that stubbornness and stupidity again.

    Any additional comments?

Sorry, I couldn't relate to these characters and didn't like either of them. The story was good but it's hard to get into a story about characters you dislike.
