This was a thoroughly enjoyable read. Not predictable. Strong characters and ensemble cast. While I am not necessarily a western reader, I loved this story and recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good book. The narration was superb.Great read

Not my favorite

The narrator, Kevin Free, was horrible with the female voices. They all, especially Maggie, sounded like a man trying to sound like a woman, which was creepy. The voices were jarring and continually pulled me out of the story. The whispered voice of Preacher was much better, though I kept expecting to hear him say, “I’m Batman,” in that Michael Keaton way. Other than Preacher, the narrator did not do a good job at varying the voices. At times I wasn’t sure who was speaking.
That being said, I enjoyed the book overall.
