Good standards to live by!

The only real problem I had throughout these books was some of the pronunciation of western words! The worst in this book was “livery stable”.
I cringed every time the narrator said “live-ery”! It’s just a small thing, but it breaks concentration every time it is mispronounced.

Dobbs pronunciation of "live-ry" is annoying! She really should learn how to pronounce basics!!

Boring

Couldn't make it past chapter 1. Only second time I have returned a book. Narrator was horrible. Was shocked the weird accent was supposed to be Irish. Reading phasing was stilted. Story was going nowhere. How this is rated so highly is beyond me. Loads of really interesting books with good narrators out there wasn't going to waste my time on this. Was especially depressing thinking it would go on for 20 hours as it was a 4 book bundle. Glad many people enjoy this series,. Even gladder I had return option.

Western Romance

I wasn't sure how I would like the books, but once I started listening, I didn't want to stop. I love how each book continues the story of other characters already introduced in the first book. Well done.

good stories. great buy. ok narrator

I loved thst I could buy 4 books for the price of 1!! I enjoyed all of the stories and loved that they tied into each other. I didn't like the Irish accent done throughout the books but other than that the narrator did an alright job and was fine to understand and listen too.

I will buy more of the authors stories simply for the bargain of 4 for 1 books as the stories remind me ones of my favourite author whose aren't available on audible.
