Publisher's Summary

The first day of Mia's new life in Grayslake, Georgia, is not going as planned. The house her grandfather left her looks ready to crumble, boxes cover every inch of the floor and - oh - there's a bear cub in her pantry. It gets worse when the cub's uncle comes by and busts out his fur and claws while on her front porch. Then it gets loads better because suddenly there's a hot hunk of badge-wearing werebear on her lawn ready to rescue her. Yum. Of course, he has to ruin things by trying to take the cub out of her hands. Ha! The cub is hers...no ifs, ands, or bears about it.

Werebear Ty can't seem to get the curvaceous, delectable Mia to understand that, even if she is one-quarter werebear, she isn't keeping the cub. Ty is the Grayslake Itan, the clan's leader, and the little werebear is going home with him. Unless it isn't. It's her smile. If she'd stop smiling and being gorgeous, his inner-bear would support him and Ty would get his way. But the beast wants to make his woman happy, so it's perfectly content to let her do as she pleases. Then things change. Threats arise, danger comes close, and Ty demands she return to his den. No ifs, ands, or mates about that.

I love Celia Kyle and was curious about not seeing any of her books in audible. Then all of a sudden she has several. I was delighted to see No Ifs, and or Bears About It was one of the first because this story is exciting, funny and touches the heart. The narrator did a fabulous job. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars for all aspects. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

    "Just Wow!"

I am a devoted paranormal mystery and romance reader. I was browsing the Audible site and found this great book. The story had really good and memorable characters. The story revolves around a human female and the alpha of a town full of bears. There's lots of laughs, romance, mystery, sex, bears, werewolves, hyenas, a great shifter clan fight and cute little cubs. I plan to buy the next book in the series. This book is definitely worth a credit.

"Great Narration &Tale, Can't Wait For The Next One!"

This is the first story in Celia Kyle's excellent bear shifter series. It has it all engaging characters, humor, suspense, and hot erotic scenes. Kendall Taylor's narration is awesome. Her male vocalizations are the best I've ever heard by a female. She makes the story vivid and engrossing. Can't wait until the next one.

"Great fun with a sad topic"

shifters, abandonment-issues, abduction, action-adventure, law-enforcement, relationships, snarky, humor, includes-erotica, romance

There's a baby bear in her pantry, she wants to protect him, and he attaches himself to her. The drunk at the door turns out to be his guardian, and the lawman at the curb is really hot. She comes from a were bear family, and this is a were town. The story continues with all kinds of mischief and mayhem, and is so well written that I just couldn't put it down. The characters are well explored and the action is clearly depicted, making for a great read!

    "This book starts out adorably"
    Any additional comments?

It started out wonderful, but then I started not liking the heroine, Mia. Sassy but sort of meddling female . Mia is mostly human. Ty is the bear chief. He's super into her - she thinks it's for the wrong reasons. He pursues her. She throws silly obstacles in his way. There's some action, some sexy time, and a large cast (you can see the author setting up the rest of the series).

"A Little Too Much Quirky But Good Overall"

It was a good read overall. Definitely worth the purchase. I would have enjoyed hearing hearing "Holy crap on a cracker" a few less times. It bordered annoying after the first 20 times. Other than that, the story was pretty pretty good. There were a few good sex scenes. Although I hate the word pussy and c**t. There was also some great action/conflict to keep it interesting. And last but certainly not least the narrator was great. She made men sound like men and women sound like men. Seems lately those qualities are rare.

"A quirky story with a curvy main character"

I really liked this story. The main female character was a little quirky. There were some funny parts and, as a curvy woman myself, I enjoyed seeing one as a main female character. And the curves were mentioned and explained with respect. The male leading character was muscular and thin and found his curvy lady to be the most beautiful he's ever seen. The main story was good as well. I thought it all flowed well. I really enjoyed it.
