The main character stupidity

I love the other stories, but this was a very annoying storyline. The main female character was extremely stupid. As an alien in an alien world full of danger, Everin made some bad choices the seems to endanger her. She did not seem to stick with the other human females. She was trying to be independent and do things that seem like survivalist but it wasn't.

I loved the series but have to agree with the other reviewers. The last book about the shapeshifter and the independent, traumatized human female was my least favorite. But I still want more😂

Captivating!

I absolutely loved the storyline, and how the story progress through each character. The growth of the story in general kept things very interesting. The different personalities were great.

Cute stupid aliens…..

I loved the whole series. The last one was the funniest to me. And all worthwhile to listen to.

it was OK

The first book was more horror and featured dub con and worse so it was hard to get into. But I liked the world and was determined to finish the series. I liked the Crex/ Piper and the Ice/ Diana books the best as each character was fun and strong. I hated the Kairus/ Song pairing because I did not like Song-- she was TSTL, weak, and somehow STILL a Mary Sue. It was hard to get thru this book and I am not sure I will continue the series after. Things I found super lacking/ big cons-- somehow there is only 1 planet explored in this series so it gets really repetitive after the first couple of books; and, the author seems to love referring to male genitalia as "mushrooms." It's not romantic and very hard to take it any kind of serious, and yet, it's not funny enough to be comedic. The space travel, fight scenes, and initial exposure to the sand planet was the best part of the series.

An enjoyable series

The characters are well developed and each relationship develops authentically despite some insta-love elements. The series has an overarching story that is best appreciated in sequence. I don't think they are true stand alones. Each does have a HEA. I really liked this series even though I was disturbed by the abduction for sex trafficking theme. I think the details were too much for me considering how everything else about these stories had such a sweetness to it. I would have preferred less examples of the terrible things that can be done to a person. I didn't look at the trigger warnings so that's on me but be aware if this is an issue for you. That said, I would read it again. The narrator was fantastic. I had not heard her before.

Loved it!

I liked the entire series. I think book five is my favorite. I liked how it had some suspense but not enough to stress me out :)

Story is captivating

I loved these books! The story took me away and made it impossible to stop listing.
