Her feelings change when she comes into heat for the first time. Why now? Why her? Instantly, every unmated male in her tribe comes sniffing. They all want her. They want to mate her and to get her with child. All. Of. Them. Anger infuses every last cell of her body. An anger she never knew she felt. Snubbed for years and now they want her. Now they see her. They can all go straight to hell!

Her king has other plans. The tribe needs offspring. They need female young, which is something the humans cannot provide. Thunder instructs her to choose a male...any male, and to do so right away. She doesn't have long before the end of her heat cycle.

Good Book Can’t Wait Till I Get The Rest.

The first thing is that the description does not do it adequate there’s a lot more to this book then what is put in the description, that being said, I loved it.can’t wait until I can get the rest of the series👍

Good short story

It was a short story but a good one. I really wanted an epilog. Did she get pregnant, and they should have given his reaction about finding out she was in heat again.

Good story and sweet

I wish they wrote about what happens to the characters, did they have children or not. Is weird to go the whole story only to find out nothing. Don’t know if the characters would be able to conceive

Great Start

Great perspective from the she dragon POV. On to the next in this series. Great Narration.

I loved this book, it was about dragons and how they react to each other.

Hartnady never misses. The whole series is so well thought out with enough drama to keep the reader engaged . Am over 10 books in and she still creating characters different from other books. Love the Dragon dragon couple.

It was good for a light listen.

The narrator did a good job. The story was good, light, predictable but still good. Would recommend if you’re looking for a light listen. Nothing too deep.

Pretty Good

It was refreshing to listen to a story about the female shifter’s romantic pursuit for a change rather than human females. It had it’s funny moments. Quite an interesting storyline. The narrator did a great job with characters.

The story progression.

The story was very interesting and enjoyable. It’s easy to root for the characters. The arther does a great job describing the romantic scene.

Not my kind of storyline, no romance or adventure

I think this was written by a man …. No romance and the language is rough. Not my type.
