This is a EROTIC PARANORMAL ROMANCE ! 

First, I will admit there really wasn't a plot outside of the relationship between the hero & heroine. The story was focused on them, and them alone. Mika’s upbringing into a world of werewolf shifters and humans hasn’t exactly made her qualified to stay out of trouble. Although human herself, Mika’s uncle is a werewolf shifter and has taught her the ways of his pack… well almost all of them. Uncle Omar knowingly withheld vital information regarding mating season, thinking that this will keep Mika ‘innocent’ from the highly sexual natures of werewolf shifters. Her yearly vacation to visit with Uncle Omar couldn’t have come at a worse time. Now with Grady, his upbringing wasn’t exactly conventional either. His mother is a human who abandoned him to his father when she found out he could shift. Dealing with his abandonment issues has never been a problem since he’s in denial. Dealing with Mika when he’s assigned protection duties by her uncle, could prove to be disastrous. The two main characters are both very passionate and stubborn which leads to a physically explosive relationship from their first meeting. The emotional frustration kicks in when the characters start actually feeling something for one another but for Grady abandonment issues by a human woman is the drawback. Recommended for those seeking a highly passionate, highly sexual story that will pull you in all directions. Note to listener: if you’re looking for a new creative way to enjoy chocolate syrup, there’s a fantastic ‘recipe’ in this book.

Just okay

I liked it overall, but the heroine in this one towards the end is very whiny and jumps to conclusions and never apologizes for the trouble she causes. I like a heroine to accept her part in the drama. The book just became annoying to me...... of your looking for an annoying heroine, weird word, and pointless sex scenes this is the book for you!!!

Ok on story and heat scale was so very!!

This story slowed down and got repetitive several times, but it was easy enough to follow along. My biggest problem with this was that it was not good in dual Point of View (POV), you only get her side. It makes for a very incomplete feeling of the story.

Just Get The Book! Then the Second one! Oh my!

I started not to get this one. Glad I did. Great Author, Great Narrator. So, What are you waiting on? Second book is even better.

That first scene on the street was hot and alarming. I think the narrator read it well.

I laughed at the mating season and the male's need for his partner. It was fun.

A great author who knows how to steam up her books.

Ignorant female main character

This is the first I’ve listened to this author. The story flows kind of predictably with really hot scenes. For a person who grew up being repeatedly told and warned about shifter customs, she (mc) is a pitiful excuse for a decision making adult. No sense of self preservation and no thought of how her actions affect others. To be in her late twenties she thinks and acts like a teenager. She makes dumb unfounded assumptions and gets herself into situations most adults can see coming. All of her problems are her own fault. I felt so bad for the lead male. I even felt horrible for her family. Most seek safety with family and familiar people, but not this idiot. I really wish she had backbone and brains.

Condoned Rape, Kidnapping & Imprisonment

If you like books that not only condones Rape but actually glorifies it and makes the victim crave the rapists body mere moments after she was brutally forced into being taken, then this is the book for you. All others should stay far away.

As far as the audio performance, that was done well.

Fear and running

He doesn't want a human for a mate. But he was forced to mark her to protect her. She was the pack leader's niece and he was told to protect her. It was mating season and even a human female wasn't safe. He rescued her once already and he got assigned to her. After marking her meant she was the only one he could mate with this season. She was attracted to him, but her uncle didn't want her to mate with a wolf. He had raised her as a human after telling her about her parents. But she fell in love with him anyway, knowing the wolf would leave her. So, the battle was on. You will have to read \listen to the book to see how it ends. This is a great love story with lots of gushy parts. It is an adult readers only book. With lots of sexy parts, cause mating season. I recommend this book because it is a love story before a sex book.

Great Story but to crude language

great story..wish author would not use as crud language to describe the sex. it was more pornographic than romance to me
