Mates can be Purrfect.

I like the puma and wolf sounds.I love the way a wolf will protect his mate.I don’t like that this book isn’t a movie.I would like everyone who loves wolves to read it.I dressed up as a werewolf for Halloween.I listen to this audible book for two years now.

Purrfectly naughty

Would you consider the audio edition of His Purrfect Mate to be better than the print version?

Not necessarily, I do love the narrator, but the print version is good as well.

What was one of the most memorable moments of His Purrfect Mate?

When Shannon and Anton met in the woods and she was trying to climb his body.

What about G. C. VonCloudts’s performance did you like?

The variety of voices that she is able to perform is amazing... Oh and the growly voice she uses for the impassioned moments as Anton.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed and cried in different parts of the book. It is definitely an emotional roller-coaster and well worth reading or listening to many times.

Laurann is a wonderful story teller, and I love the blend of romance and erotica without the trashiness. I love that Shannon has morals though Anton is able to slip under her defenses she keeps her strong moral character intact.

Love this paranormal series!

Anton & Shannon are purr-fect together. Rave, Vaughn & Braydon are hilarious when Brand is driving the van trying to get Shannon back to town. He just can't stop talking about the "heat". Wow, is all I can say about Chapter 14! Extremely erotic! Wow! Wow! Wow!

Shifter mismatch!

This second book in the Mating Heat series was entertaining. There is a romance between a werewolf shifter and a puma shifter who can't shift. Crossing over community lines isn't approved of, but he finds her irresistible! Unfortunately. Some in the community and especially his family want her gone. The question becomes whether the hero, as the future leader of this werewolf group, should mate a woman who's mostly human with a little puma thrown in. Narration was okay for female voice, but again I found the male voices to be weak and nasally.

Did not disappoint!!

I purchased the first book in error and it was the greatest mistake! So I went into this book with high hopes and was not disappointed. Finished the first book in two days…..this one I finished in ONE DAY!! New to paranormal romance and have always read about wolves so a puma was quite intriguing. I just discovered there is a third book in this series and am elated!!

Book 1 & 2 were worth listening time. Liked both stories, but I would not take time to re listen as reader just Ok.

No more Dohner stories for me. My fave reviewers love this author's work, but they are not for me. The outlines are great, but the full story just is not for me. Such a shame as they are priced so right.

A Lil Kitten & One Bad Ass Wolf .... Just Perfect

Shannon and Anton belong together, his vows to her are just as strong as his family bonds with all his brothers and cousin. So glad Anton realized she's the one, he and his wolf wanted to keep for good before it was too late and not just for the hate. Since the first book "Mate Set" I didn't like their mother (-__-) and the near rape scene did have my heart stopping, but Laurann Dohner as always saves the day. Once again Laurann this one is keeper!!!! and thanks to G.C 's narration I found myself visualizing everything.
