I liked how the book kept us in a bit of suspense. The narrator was one of the best. Great job!

Joey W Hill hits the nail on the head with another amazing chapter in the series. All the characters are fresh, interesting, and original. The book isn’t simply BDSM with filler material thrown in to tide the reader (listener) over. Willing Sacrifice shows us a very interesting POV from Janet, a female Domme. I had a few minor quibbles with some of the plotting in later portions of the book; a minor quibble with Marcy’s character (already established in the previous book). Willing Sacrifice is well written, paced and plotted very well and engaging.

Once again we dive into the K&A world and this time it’s their formidable admin who falls in love. I was a tad disappointed in the story because I don’t think the Domme part is highlighted enough. But I loved to return to the ‘boardroom knights’ and get updates

I have been reading Joey W.Hill for years and she draws you in with good character development, story lines which are interesting and hot sex scenes. I look forward to her next book.

I must admit that this was well written.... however it just didn't work for me. I like the Alpha Heroes in a story to remain Alpha but in this book Max the ex Navy SEAL was constantly chasing and adapting for Janet the Heroine who was a very dominant dislikeable Dom. Both characters had a terrible event in their pasts which still haunts them today and was partly to blame for the Janet's personality but Max was thoughtful, sensitive and loving.

However, I didn't feel any romance until the very end but rather lots of very hot BDSM sex which, in parts, went way way over the top for me and without the romance it was just brutal and raw and I eventually skipped over some sex scenes. There was a bit of tension and excitement at the end but it was all too late by then.

Worth a credit? This is book 6 in The Knights Of The Boardroom series and, although it could be a stand-alone listen, it does contain all the couples and characters from those previous books which aren't (as I write this review) yet available on Audible. The narrator was ok but the total lack of mutual romance compared to the overload of some hardcore and shocking sex made me regret purchasing this..... so NO IMHO, not worth a credit.
