Love the story hate the narrator

I love the premise of the book, but the narrator leaves a lot to be desired. Also hated the way it ended. I think I might read the second installment instead she is so boring she can put me to sleep.

Absolutely loved the characters and the story!!!!! I had read this twice before and listening to it on audio was just so great!! To have it read to you is so good.

Good start

Good start to this series, looking forward to hearing and reading the rest. So far 5 star

I freaking love it!

So well written. Not predictable at all. The narrator is excellent though a bit ‘nasal’.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening and finished the book in two days. Starting the next one in the series ASAP and so looking forward to it.
I may even go back and re-listen once I’ve completed the series.

Funny and interesting

YES. This book starts a little slow, but gets very interisting.

What other book might you compare Revelation to and why?

I think the Shade of Vampire's Series. The way the story and the relatopmships were building.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

I think yes. But, somethings could be a little more expressive.

Was Revelation worth the listening time?

Yes, listening this book worth my time.

love it

love the story and flow. The delivery is great! This is my second time going through the series and it still gets me.

Somewhat Interesting

Not sure about this one yet. I feel like I just got the tip of the iceberg and there's so much more to unfold in this series. There was just enough info to keep you interested, but not enough to have me dying to read the next book. The narration was well done.

I loved this book and apologize this is not a great long review, but I just want to get to the next book. Definitely worth reading.

I’m not sure I understand the reviews about the narrator. Y’all had me expecting an elderly woman with a cigarette in her mouth. I thought she was lovely.

The story is young, but if you keep your expectations in check, it’s enjoyable. It did remind me a lot of Amy A Bartol’s Premonition Series, as another reviewer mentioned.

I can handle the “youth” of the book just fine as I like the premise. My only real issue was with how many conversations she “just so happened” to overhear. I think the author could’ve found a better way to give the reader that information. Once? Okay. Twice? Eh.. multiple times throughout the book? Come on, now.

All in all, I did enjoy the book and do not regret the time spent in this series. Is it my top 10? No. But it was a nice way to pass the time. Give this story a chance and keep your mind open.

Love the voice for this book

Considering how many main characters there are in this book, I am so impressed that Jorjeana Marie Is able to make each character different and then be consistent about it as if it takes no effort from her. She really brings this series to life! Highly recommend for all my YA fantasy lovers!
