THIS BOOK IS ON FIRE!!!!

It's been awhile since I have enjoyed anything this much. The characters are believable and relatable. The storyline is fantastic!! Highly recommend. If the first book seems to drag a tiny bit ,its an illusion..lol its just building up for a suspenseful cliffhanger ending!!!!! Ugh!! on my way NIX !!!!

This book hit very close to home , well almost I don't have five beautiful men loving and taking care of me but this book makes me wish for endless possibilities!! 😁😁!! a can not wait to get into the next book ❤❤

Listened to all 7 books

The character develop we see from start to finish is AMAZING. Throughout this series you see so much personal growth. This series talks about the subjects that are often ignored and it brings them into the limelight later on. Overall you see the growth and strength of each individual. Yes it's a RH. But it's the first I've seen where it's not all about sex(although those are some great scenes). The narators did a fantastic job.

a very slow low burn RH

good beginning of the story. literally nothing steamy happens in this 1st book. nothing goes beyond kissing. so this 1st book is a very slow, low burn RH foundation.

Awesome series

I have not only read this series twice, but now I own all of these on audible. I am seriously in love with this series. The characters, the storyline... all of it works so well. Then you add in the performances of both narrators and I can see everything in my head so much more. Brandon Utah is one of the best narrators I have heard, by far. The talent he has with the voices and accents of the different characters, including Nyx, is just beyond amazing. He truly makes the story love. Heather Costa has a whispery voice as Nyx, is great and she definitely gets the accents down too.

You’re in for a great ride!

This series has it all! The spice, the relationships, the character development and growth and a plot that keeps you up late and keeps you coming back for more. Brandon Utah is very talented. Heather Costa did well with the female voices, not so much the males and accents but it didn’t bother me that much. I thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series.

Wonderful story, inconsistent narration

I love the story, but the female narrator is annoying (she hisses her S's, it's very distracting) and both she and the male narrator are very inconsistent in their accents. The men are from all over the world and the voices used by the female narrator is nothing like the one that the male narrator uses, and they both tend to fall out of the accents in the middle of a chapter.

And the Japanese character mispronounced the name of his own species, which drove me nuts each time he said it.

I love the story itself though. I already have the books and enjoyed listening to it instead. I still probably won't spring for the others.

Oh My Fire!!

I am writing this after just finishing book 5 in the series. (Still waiting for the last 2 books to be released)


Spoilers Ahead!!



First, the sex scenes start off slow in books 1 and 2 but then get pretty hot and steamy. Mainly MF but some slight MM action is happening. Some epic dominate scenes with a few of her guys that will have you wanting to find the rope! They all focus on her pleasure which is always hot! Group sexy times along with heavy voyeuristic tendencies make all 7 if them happy!

Second, all the guys are different and wonderful. The addition of their Alters to consider adds a new level to the story. Ryder the flirty healer unicorn. Hiro the compassionate caring kitsinea. Killian the big grumpy pookah. Damian the protective sexy gargoyle. Theo the intellectual akward kraken. Finally Joshua the self sacrificing basilisk. Nix is the best by far being the most powerful, caring, bad ass Phoenix around! She has come so far already and I'm excited to see where her story ends up.

Third, the rebellion is taking shape. The others invested in taking down the counsel are astounding! I can't wait to see what Renie and Kiren are going to do next!
