Story was a bit too out there

Even for a fantasy novel, this story was just too out there with its twists and turns. It felt like every supernatural cliche was condensed into this book and none of them were fleshed out. That said, it was entertaining but hard to get through.

Good story!

The story was origional and the narrators do a great job telling it. It ends in a cliff hanger, which didn't bother me.

great book

My heart ached for Gabriel! Too soon! Adela gad so many changes and adjustments, and I empathized with her. No hea yet in this one- must continue after the cliffhanger. The world building is amazing and the characters are interesting. I enjoyed listening to this and would love more. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Not for me

The narration for this book was good, but I just couldn’t get into it. I finally started to like it towards the last 2 hours where it got pretty interesting.

loved it easy to get lost in the story.great quality on the speaking love the different voices between the people in the story. did not like the cliff hanger ending.

I’m gonna give this a 3 star

I’m gonna give this a 3 star but it would have had a 5 star if it wasn’t a love triangle soul mate or mate thing going on. I wasn’t in a mood for that so I couldn’t finish it. I will change this review once I’m able to return and give a proper review then in the future but for now it will stay at 3 star. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Hybrid

The idea of being turned into 2 mystical creatures intrigued me but it’s hard to say too much about the story without giving away any spoilers! there were so many different things happening. I’ll keep this simple and say I enjoyed the suspense of figuring out who was behind everything. I’m going to keep my eye out for the next book.

Good beginning, sad that the story ended with a cliffhanger. Looking for the next story to see what happens next.

Maybe it’s only me but I felt that the story was SO slow and all over the place. Had the author built on the significance of the heroine’s experience and probably a simple plot before introducing twists, maybe I would have liked it more. As it is, it was a “meh” for me. Sorry.

Very Disappointed

I tried really hard to like this book. I finished it but was dismayed to find it ends on major cliffhanger. There are a lot of twists and turns in this story that keep the reader on their toes. The problem is that there are minor plot points that are inconsistent which is very distracting.
