Enough with abusive romance

I am getting really tired of abusive romantic relationships. I’m still not sure if I’ll listen to more books. The story is interesting, mostly, but alphas and betas don’t have to be jerks.

I thank the person who recommended increasing the speed of the book. I went wit 1.25 and it's the only way I continued and made it through the books. The books get better as you continue in the series, 5-7 are so much better. The recommendation of having a dictionary available is also very true.

Love SKY!

This series is absolutely filled with twists and turns! You just never see what will happen next! Great story plot in every single book. About to start on the last book in the series now and I am gonna miss Sky and Ethan!

Stick with it!

Yes, the narrator is very slow, so just speed up the timing and it's fine. Frankly, it took me until probably the middle of the second book before I really felt engaged with the story. I would suggest to just stick with it. I just finished all seven books and I was really happy with them. I didn't always exactly understand what was happening in the plot, but I just went along for the ride and enjoyed it. And there was always a synopsis at a different point, like at the beginning of the next book, where it all sort of came together. I would say stick with this and the characters really evolve and you start to connect with them. And yes, Sky can be annoying but she also has a sense of humor and really grows as a character. I loved her snarky internal narration. 💕

The narration is not so good.

The story was good but the narration drove me nuts. Could have been written using better wording here and there but still a good story. Enjoyed it and will continue to the next part of the series.

I relate to Skylar so much. She can be such a sass. I love all the characters and the voice person catches each persons voice well and makes it easier to keep track of who is talking when. Very well done.

Very heavy on the Fantasy very light one the romance.

This over all was good if you're looking for a fantasy book. If you are looking for a romantasy book this isn't the book for you. The first book was a little hard to get into I don't know if it was because of the narrator or the story so thats why I'm giving it a 4 star rating. But after getting used to the narrator and the audio issues throughout each book i was hooked to see what happened next. It is very interesting and the slight snippets of Skylar having multiple love interests is interesting to see how each character mindlessly flirts with her. Having many different tropes and personalities with each love interest.

Good but very repetitive

It was an interesting read but kept repeating info that you already knew. Needed more details in places and less in others.

Passion?

The story line is good. But the characters needs passion.

I can't say any of the characters have passion, especially Skylar.
Skylar have a mini crush on Ethan, they have shared 2 intense kisses. But when she walked in on Ethan and Chris, she felt nothing.

Is she going to fall in love? I do hope so.
