Publisher's Summary

Destiny can always be altered or changed in our favor, especially when it involves love.

Amira is a werewolf living a peaceful life as a normal college student in the human society. Not until the new alpha of the pack she and her parents belongs to pays a visit at their home. It is end of the semester, and she is being sent to stay at the pack house.

There, she would live under the roof of the strong yet emotionless alpha, Xavier. With her heat in power, she cannot seem to resist the touch of him behind closed doors, no matter how detached their interaction is.

Soon, their interest in each other blossoms, leaving them both in each other’s arms despite not being mates. However, things turn upside down when Amira runs into her destined mate.

Who will she choose? The person she is destined to be with or her alpha whom she has grown to love?

Robot is speaking…. Kinda annoying

I really hate how the story was read. It made me stop hearing the book unfortunately. It’s just odd, the summary sounds like it has a great plot but goodness how it’s read sounds like a robot

Mixed emotions

I have a lot to say about the book. But over all I enjoyed the story and narrator. It’s a shifter story about an angry alpha and an unhappy pack member forced from her city home back to the pack house to train. The alpha seems to have it out for her and she can’t figure out why. There’s tons of push and pull between the characters. The bad guys aren’t always who they seem with violence and courageous acts the story keeps drawing you back in. There are moment where you want to punch characters in the face because they are oblivious to what’s going on or hug them because life sucks. I enjoyed the listening to this story but I had a few problems. There was a lot of short choppy sentences with repetitive words. One example is “I scrubbed my body vigorously and rinsed, cleansing my body. The use of body twice was to much for me. It happened a enough in the 12 hour book to start to annoy me. With a little editing the sentences would have flowed much better with out distraction. Another thing I didn’t under stand is why the majority of the book is in Amira’s point of view and then randomly you got Stevens or Kaylas point of view. There short bursts of POV seem to just add in odd tidbits that should probably have their own story. Yes Steven love for Xavier’s sister is important but it could have been told from Amira’s POV as conversation with them. Same goes with Kayla and her mates random spot light moments. I don’t think the switch in characters added to the story except for Xavier as his views directly involved Amira and their relationship. I think that Other characters story lines have value but they should have been the ones telling the story because for example, how is Kayla’s in-depth sexual frustration experience truly important to Amira and Xaviers story because this is a story about their love. Hit the high lights that could have been in a omg hers killing me cause he won’t make the first move conversation and then have what happened with shift explained when she is called for help. There are other examples but it feels like they were added to just make the book longer or she wanted to share so much instead of write more then one story. I would love to see their whole stories with over lapping timelines though. I have seen authors do this and it works well and continues to add layers into the stories and world. I loved the narrators voice. You could tell when she switched characters, feel emotions and she has an amazing cadence. My only issue was in the beginning you could her every in take of breath she took. Like she would take a deep breath read a few sentences take another big breath and read some more. It happened some where in the middle too but didn’t let very long. The beginning was a little rough but once she got into to the story she did beautifully.

Beautiful love story not the ending I imagined.

I loved how the story eased them together and not only focused on just the main characters but others in the story as well. Very well written and funny too.

Great story

Amira realises she loves Xavier her alpha but then she meets her fated mate. She has to think about Xavier and if he loves her and her encounter with hunters and choose if she wants Xavier or her fated mate.

looking forward to what's next

Was a god book, and I joyed the read, and hope there is more from the author.
Only thing I didn;t like was what I felt was a bit of an abrupt ending. Considering the length of the book I would have like more detail.

Erm.... Narration is key!

I have only listened to 30 seconds and already want my money back. I have no comment on the story as I can't listen to the reader.

Not to be mean to Stella Rose but this sounds like it's read by an auto-bot.

I'm sorry but I can't listen.

Wow!! Just wow!! A great world shifter listen

I loved this book!!
This was my first book by Symone R.
I can not wait to read/listen to the next one. I found myself so drawn in that I lost track of time. I had to force myself to stop it to get some sleep.
I loved Amira’s character. She is so caring and was just enjoying her life with her parents, friends, and school. She is sent to stay with her pack and Alpha to learn pack life by her father. There is so much that happens. It is a roller coaster of a ride.
Stella Rose did wonderfully pulling you into the story. The flow was constant and very good.

Enjoyed

I enjoyed listening to Stella Rose, perfect for this book.

This has twists and turns. The plot kept me interested from the start. Heads up our lead Xavier treats Amira mean and keen.

A great book, I laughed , cried and shouted for joy. Hot scenes.

Awesome story

Loves the story line.I usually only listen while I drive but found myself listening throughout the day. Not the best narrator though...
