Great book

My first book by Lisa Unger, It was great and I really enjoyed it.
Twists and turns and I was glued .
Didn't enjoy the narrator

Excellent story and totally entertaining.

A different kind of psychological novel. It begins as a puzzle with multiple characters blending into the many mysteries. I enjoyed being ... one set behind the next twist of events! Thoroughly enjoyable.

Five Star Book!

This was a great audible. Lisa Unger tells the story of two different girls, both scarred by tragic pasts, unable to look toward the future. But both of their pasts do come back to haunt them, set off by a single event, and then their lives and stories converge in the end with a spectacular twist. The story was suspenseful and well written and the narration was equally as good. I very much enjoyed it and recommended it to friends.

Good book

Very entertaining unpredictable and well written. Bad cops murder Kung fu instructors psychopath older brother it had everything but it flowed very well!

Good story line but

Create concept and I stuck it out but too much unnecessary plot info, thereby making the story at least a couple hours longer than it needed to be. So much vocabulary that took away rather than added to the story line. Don’t get me wrong I love long books and I like to be in suspense. I would have skipped ahead but I was afraid we were about to get to the real story so many times. Gives me pause to consider another Lisa Unger book. Really a shame because I liked the plot. Could have used a bit more distinction in characters voices.

It will keep you on the edge

I have to blame a completely sleepless night on this book, because I couldn't stop listening! it is very engaging, suspenseful, and well written. I highly recommend it.

the narration is very well done; the narrator keeps you interested. the story surprises you and keeps you wanting to read.

I felt the story line was fragmented and at times was hard to follow. Perhaps if I had read this vs listening I wouldn’t feel the same. Good plot just a hard listen for me.

Interesting, very deep characters.

First time for me to read this author. I found that having two main characters to get to know was a bit intense. However, glad I stuck with it as the story line got better towards the end.
