Publisher's summary

Three possessive wolf-shifters. A wounded woman finding her strength. A world of dangerous fae determined to exploit her unexpected powers.

For years, the monsters who killed my family have held me in a cage. Brutalized and half-starved. Only kept alive so they can steal my blood.

Until one evening, when three eerily gorgeous men rescue me.

They offer a safe haven under their protection with everything I need to heal. I'm not used to this kindness—or the desires their smoldering eyes and strong hands stir in my body and my heart.

But these fearsome men aren't really men. Like my former captors, they're fae who can shift into wolves. A curse gripping the faerie realm turns them wild under the full moon.

Only the strange power coursing through my veins can cure their rage.

I'm a prize as much as a person to them. But I've survived this long without giving up. And as I recover my strength, I'm winning their hearts as well.

Can this damaged human hold her own among the savage fae?

Bound to the Fae is a fantasy romance series featuring possessive shifters, dangerous fae politics, and a wounded heroine coming into her own. This audiobook set contains the first three books in the series: Captive of Wolves, Feral Blood, and Kings of Moonlight.

Weird trauma porn

I was intrigued by “reverse harem” but this was weird. The storyline has some major issues. ***spoilers ahead **** the FMC was abducted at the age of 12 and kept for 9 years… then she gets abducted by another group of wolf fae shifters and is suddenly sexually mature and wants to be with all three. I’m not against the group love, but it was weird given the details and huge trauma factors. Trauma isn’t sexy. The female narrator does this weird thing with her voice when she acts out the men and makes it sound like a bad cartoon. There’s only one male actor for all the male characters and he doesn’t bother to change his voice for each one. Storyline, beyond weird trauma stuff is weak and drags out ridiculously. I enjoyed the character of August, but everyone else was kind of shit. Not worth your time or money. Plus there’s like 9 books in this series. Feels like a 3 page paper stretched out to 15 but with trauma and mediocre sex.

Where to start

Where to start? This was pretty disappointing, I got about 1/2 way through and just couldn't go on. The characters are very one dimensional, they weren't believable at all. The dialogue was basic and kind of cliche, which added to the lack of believability. It was just cheesy. There wasn't any real progression in the plot, which had(s) potential, there just isn't enough of it to keep me invested. AND last but certainly not least, this may have been the most YA RH I've ever read. They basically make out 🫤, plus the dialogue is so fucking awkward that it's just weird. I've read my fair share of smut and RH's, and this is just sad

Cliffhangers get me every time!

I’m not one to read reviews so I bought this book blind and with an open mind… but this time the reviews were pretty spot on!

The narrator’s voice drove me absolutely insane and made finishing the book more of a chore than entertainment.

I basically only finished it because I never start a book and don’t see it through…. But now I have to continue because the last 2 minutes had my jaw on the floor!

Must know what happens next!

Don't Bother

I hate to speak poorly of things but this story is a hard listen. I can't believe I stuck with it as long as I did. wanted it to be a good story but just continued to disappoint.

binge

book 1: after being held captive for over 8 years Talia learns that not all fae wolf shifters are the same as her new "captors" are completely different.
book 2: you can't help rooting for Talia and the guys, that everything will work out. What I cliff hanger, I want the next book as soon as possible.
book 3: just wow

The third book's cliffhanger 😱😱🫢🫢🤯🤯

Well I guess I'm immediately jumping in to the next book instead of getting anything productive done today... 🐺💕🐦‍⬛

Frustrating.

Honestly, it was so frustrating!!! It took soooooo long!!! I have personal understanding with trauma and the author grasp it so well. And all of it is good in its own way, but everything took so long. I was finding myself getting annoyed. The character that that hated the female lead was the best part of it all. Wish there would have been a twist in that then killing them off.

Great details

Vivid, able to feel like you’re actually part of the story. Narraters also well spoken, the voices seem like they would match each character

How do I get a refund on this?

The narrator just sent chills of anger up my spine. What is this baritone accent with the male protagonist and… basically all of them?! Horrible starter to new audio listeners. This has been the worst reading yet!
