Detective Hannah Shor gets a case in the worst way possible - a friend calls her for help. Her 12-year-old daughter has been kidnapped, and Hannah joins forces with the FBI to bring her home safely.
When the kidnappers post an image of their captive on Instagram, the situation spins out of control. Now, the whole world is watching. Rumors spread like wildfire, and online vigilantes add fuel to the raging flames. As Hannah digs deeper, she unravels dark secrets from the family's past. With the realization that the kidnapping is about more than just a ransom, Hannah needs to close in on the truth, before Abigail's time runs out.
This is the third book in the Glenmore Park series and in my opinion it is the best and most suspenseful. I don't know how this author got past me or why his books have so few ratings. If you are in any doubts it's not like Audible doesn't guarantee that you'll be happy with your purchase. Also if you have kindle unlimited the book will cost you $2.99!
In this book there is so much going on it's hard to put down, I kept wanting to know what happens next. There is the kidnapping of a child, adultery, betrayal of trust, jealousy, murders and much more all wrapped up in a really good police procedural.
This author's writing style reminds me a little of James Hayman, so anyone who enjoys the McCabe & Savage series I think would like this one as well.
The three books so far in this series are all stand alone books and can be read in any order, the same main characters are in all.
Eric Martin does a very good job narrating.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This was a terrific book. The characters were interesting and the plot most exciting. I think the narrator did an excellent job.
I follow the reviews of Audible Listener Shelley who found the Glenmore Park Mystery series. Two of the three novels earn 5 stars while the other one earns 4 stars.
Web of Fear is a very complex apparent kidnapping for ransom of a12 year old girl. With the twists and turns guessing the outcome will be impossible for even the most expert mystery solvers. There is lots of action and the suspense is intense. Narrator Eric Martin does a fantastic job!
Glenmore Park Mystery series and especially this novel will appeal to lovers of opaque mysteries.
