I didn't want to stop listening. Excellent all the way around. Excellent story, narration and characters. Not a far fetched idea. Although it's sad how bad people can change a persons life and personality. Breaks a person's heart. Adult or child, It's tragic!

Detective Alyssa Wyatt was 9yo when her 4yo brother was kidnapped and killed…an act that broke her family. This is why Alyssa became a cop…to protect the innocent and stop psychos. Now she’s in the hunt for a serial killer who kidnaps and tortures his victims…victims who all bear an eerily similar appearance to Alyssa. When the killer strikes at her family, old feelings and guilt resurfaces, but can the ace detective use this to her advantage or will she fall apart. Some tearful moments when all is revealed. Great story. Narration was on point…you get pulled into the story and have a front row seat!

Bought on a whim
If I had known it was about a sexual child predator I wouldn't have even considered it. Once I start a book, either reading or listening I always finish and this story line was tough for me. The change in volume especially for one character was frustrating. I realize this was for dramatic effect but having to rewind and turn volume UP numerous times made it difficult to listen especially while driving.
