Do yourself a favor and GET THIS BOOK!!!!

This book is a real page turner! I could not stop listening. I can’t believe this is a debut into crime fiction. She reads like a well seasoned author.
The publisher’s summary barely scratches the surface and I almost didn’t get this but I can’t say it enough, just how glad I am to have found and decided to try this new author.
There is a unique and interesting plot that kept my attention, actually I didn’t want this book to end. The characters are fleshed out and likable. The protagonist is a detective, her husband is so understanding and helpful, he what every person on the force would probably dreams of but never finds. Fortunately his character is as believable as all the characters are.
Alyssa Wyatt is a detective. She’s working on a case of missing and murdered women. She believes there’s a serial killer. The other detective working with her sees an uncanny resemblance between her and the victims. Alyssa is empathic towards the families of those murdered because when she was nine years old her four year old brother was abducted and murdered. But the story doesn’t end there, that’s where it all began.
Kate Zane does an amazing job narrating.
This book has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!!!

Excellent story

I read a lot of books similar to this one. Murder, Mystery, Criminal Minds type stories. This is a really good story. I throughly enjoyed all the characters. The last chapter is slightly predictable when it starts but still a great read.

Great read

Wow!! I really enjoyed this one. Twists and turns I didn't expect. I was on the edge of my seat holding my breath at times. really worth the credit.

Excellent Book

This book was quite amazing and intriguing. I felt the author was able to really keep me on the edge of my seat. The narrator is quite skilled. I would recommend this book highly to those who love crime mysteries.

It's pretty good so far

Ok so in full honesty I'm writting this review with about 3hrs left in the book. I'm doing this because I was enjoying it up until the middle and then it started to get annoying for me. The characters seem to making annoying and almost obvious mistakes. (This is solely my opinion) I understand that I'm the 3rd person so i know stuff the characters don't but still, I just feel like if the main character is a detective then she'd make smarter decisions.

Jaw Dropping

I listened to this book in one sitting, standing etc. This has to be the best book I’ve listened too in quite some time. It grabs you from the very beginning and holds you until the end leaving you wanting more. Awesome job Charly Cox.

some people commented about the narrator's voice, but I thought she did a fine job.

Not for the faint of heart

Don’t read if graphic descriptions of violence on children bothers you at all. Very well written, but too graphic and raw for me. I hesitate to read another of this author’s works.

Couldn't put it down!!!

I almost finished this book in two days..it is so captivating, a true thriller from start to finish. I'm now in search of more books from this author.
