Thriller not romance

This was an interesting novel. It kept me guessing and it was a good topic . The narrator did a great job. This has a sequel which I am sure I will read too

Slow at points but great for commute

I listened to this book back-and-forth on the way to and from work and it did a good job of helping to pass the time. The narrator is effective as well which was fortunate since it’s for narrator can really make a recorded book difficult to listen to. I did not want a mushy romance novel to read and it is good because this was not mushy

The plot thickens

I think the only thing that makes this a little confusing is the end but overall it’s pretty cool

Slow start. Speedy finish

I liked the narrator. I didn’t the speed of the story. It dragged in the beginning and accelerated quickly toward a conclusion.

great book, great story, terrible narration. story tellers voice annoying and overly dramatic when reading male parts

Terrible narrator almost ruined story

If you don't know the difference between a "garret" and a "garrot" you should not be narrating murder mysteries. If you can't do some kind of reasonable voice acting to sound like something other than a freak alien when reading the lines of the male charactors, and if you don't have a 4th grade grasp on grammar to know the possessive of a word that ends in "s" is that word with an apostraphe so the possessive is UNDERSTOOD by context you are simply a D- narrator!! Aren't there any editors in charge? The story is good but the narrator is stupid.

I enjoyed the story and performance. Only struggle was following when POV changed but that may be me more so than the story. I'd recommend the story.

Soooooo good

For me this book started a bit slow, but I’m so very glad I continued to listen. It was really really good!
