Publisher's Summary

After stopping a serial killer and shutting down an interstate human trafficking ring, Sloan Jordan is ready for a break. But back at home in Asheville, her problems have only just begun.

The supernatural world has taken an interest in her, and strange things are happening. Her powers are multiplying, she's plagued by vivid nightmares, and a deranged young woman, babbling an unknown language, has been detained by police. The only clue to her identity - Sloan's name carved into her arm.

If that wasn't enough, the FBI has launched a full-scale investigation into her private life, believing Sloan might not be as innocent as she claims.

With her boyfriend, Warren Parish, deployed with the Marine Corps, Sloan is left in the protection of Detective Nathan McNamara. And their complicated friendship is about to be tested. Sloan has a secret...one that could turn even Nathan against her forever.

    "Love this series!!!!"
Would you consider the audio edition of The Angel of Death to be better than the print version?

No, but I do love having a voice for each character. Makes them more real.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

the love triangle, Sloan's emotions and the plots in the story.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    way too many to pick

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    YES

    Any additional comments?

Love this series. I have read them all.

"There needs to be another..... April 25th"

I finished the series in a matter of a few days. Sloan and her gang are amazing main charaters. Sloan, Warren and Nathan make an amazing team! Narration was done amazingly well. Never flat!

"The Angel of Death –– Elicia Hyder"
If you could sum up The Angel of Death in three words, what would they be?

    Climatic. Gritty. Suspenseful.

Who was your favorite character and why?

As always, Sloan and Warren, and Azrael. I loved Az's temperance, how it contrasted the impulsivity of Sloan, Nate, and Warren. His strength is leadership and I admire that he intends to protect Sloan and Co.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I liked the beginning where (aarg, can't spoil too much) Sloan goes to her doctor's. She's pregnant (I won't tell you who's the father) but there's a bit of comedy in there! I'm a sucker for snarky and plain witty comments.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Lol, yes. I hadn't intended to listen to it full on out since I'd already bought the book and knew what was going to happen, but Brittany breathes life into the characters, Elicia has written and I couldn't resist!

    Any additional comments?

There is a CLIFFHANGER!!!! You've gotten the first two books to ease into Sloan's world, but now here's where it gets down to business! There are much more action and peril, suspense and dastardly people out to hurt Sloan.
