Not bad

It’s not bad but can get long winded at times. I will continue the series though

SUPer good writing as always

the combination of this author and narrator is magic. I first discovered these ladies with the audio book "Wraith." I loved it immediately.
this book takes supernatural to another level, one filled with interesting characters and a riveting story line. I enjoy supernatural and fantasy but many books contain war and excessive violence. I will look for a second, hopefully, in this series. thank you, Helen Harper and Ruth Urquhart for a wonderful creation.

I enjoyed it a lot

I enjoyed this book a lot. While being a supernatural book, there wasn’t a lot of what normally goes along with them like vamps biting, wolves shifting, mates and what not. Surprise twist at the end was also pretty fun!

Entertaining supe story

Good plot line with several twists you won't see coming. Narrator was good and easy to listen to.

Helen Harper has done it again! I hope there will be more adventures for Emma to come!

Great series so far

I decided to purchase this audible because it was on sale I actually like the series so far it wasn’t like other series where it is easy to guess who was the culprit etc. I also love series book instead of single finish because to me it’s more enjoyable to follow a single character through each book there wasn’t much romance in the first book but it us supposed to be slow burn as the synopsis stated I was able to finish this in a day I just wished the audible lasted a little longer

New Reader to the Author

Was clueless about the story line, but I'm hooked now. will be looking for the next 3 books in this series. Only thing I figured out before our main character was who her killer was, though my notice was way off base. A great read/ listen in my opinion.

Great Series

This is a great series with fab narration. I've listened to it a few times and generally read the books when they come out before the audio. The spinoff series is fantastic as well.

Also this is definitely one you want to read in order starting here :)

I couldn’t stop listening to this series!!!! Be patient with the beginning. Once you get past the first chapter, you will be HOOKED

Well narrated and fits the theme of the book

Good opening for the series. The narrators accent remains consistent and it is paced well.
