Publisher's Summary

When Fig Coxbury buys a house on West Barrett Street, it's not because she likes the neighborhood, or even because she likes the house.

It's because everything she desires is next door: the husband, the child, and the life that belongs to someone else.

Brilliant- really good!

Bad Mommy is an immensely entertaining yet genuinely creepy tale of personality disorders gone wild. Fig Coxbury wants what Jolene Avery has- a handsome psychologist husband, a beautiful little daughter and stylish friends. Fig sets her sights on the family, moving next door and inserting herself as a fixture into the family, all the while planning her takeover. Husband Darius is not all that he appears. Jolene now has her hands full. Told from these three points of view, this novel kicks into high gear from the start and doesn’t let up. Fascinating, haunting, scary and a little too easy to picture happening in real life, which makes it all the more interesting. Highly recommended!

Tarryn Fisher is a genius!

Once again Tarryn Fisher has owned me. She is the master of weaving her words into a story that kept me captivated. I couldn't stop listening and finished this in a day. I have read all of her novels and it is clear, the author has a dark side to her. The story follows a woman named Fig, who is convinced her miscarried baby's soul is in another child she has been stalking. Told from 3 different point of views, the character and plot twists will keep you guessing until the end.

Mediocre and Redundant

The narration was good, the plot was ok at first, but soon became tiresome and trite. Then it ended rather abruptly, not with a bang, but more like a wet fizzle. Uninspired.

Five star

Tarryn captivated me from page one. I could not have fallen for two characters more then I did to Fig and Joelle . A dark twisted story that will stay with me for a long time. five star read for sure.

MUST READ NOW- Amazing Adult Book

Ok, so for the lady that described it as” pornographic” must be a real prude- not to say it isn’t sexual at times, but in no way does the story revolve around sex or maybe a little but I enjoyed it ;) This book is AMAZING!!! So good- MUST READ- I love stores with different parts told from different character POV’s- I don’t want to give away anything but it is GREAT, and at times talks about sex- but nothing a normal adult would be offered by to the point it ruins the book! It’s so good!

first novel by fisher

this book caught my eye I don't usually read these types I usually sticknyo more horror and suspense. But something about the description just hooked me. being a woman I completely understood joelenes side and hearing it also from the crazy side as well I couldn't help but laugh at aloud out how truly crazy she was. It was very enjoyable book fast paced I listen to it in just two days. tho I was hoping for something more thrilling to happen at the end that never came. It was very true to life when you find yourself suddenly surrounded by others who don't truly have the same intentions as yourself. I would recommend this book to any woman who's ever felt well like the third wheel in her own relationship when certain others arrive. great book I may check out others by her.
