Riveting Story.

I actually gasped during parts of this book. I was totally shocked by the plot twists. It can seem a little slow in the beginning and Autumn's voice and character can grate but it's all worth it for the end.

Loved the narration but wow that end!! Really! Would have loved to know more about Autumn/Sarah. And the wife she did not have had to kill the other woman! Am still trying to come to terms with the end. Brilliant story loved it..

I Didn't See That Coming

Throughout this book, I wasn't sure who I was supposed to like. The main character did some horrible things, but so did everybody else. There were no saints in this one. I enjoyed listening, never knowing what was coming next, and the end was a complete surprise. The narration was terrific as well.

Starts slow, then spirals down...

I listen to a lot of mysteries and thrillers... but I still didn't see this coming! I only picked this book up on a whim, and when I started listening, I wasn't overly enchanted with it at first. It was like a soap opera. Model family that turns out to be dysfunctional, yeah, sure... whatever.
But keep listening - and pay attention to the 'minor' characters. As the story progresses, the characters disintegrate, one by one, and the situation gets worse and worse until it's a train wreck.
And then... well, I didn't see it coming. Not gonna say anymore and ruin it.
