Thought provoking in many good ways...

Narrators can make or break a story. These narrators made it feel as it should! A wonderful read. Don't hesitate, read/listen to this book.

I was pulled into the book.

Parts of this book drove me nuts. the back and forth from the past to present was one. she always caved into him but admittedly said she did in the beginning of the book. what they went through when he came back on her 28th birthday was hard to hear. If you've been one half of the kind of relationship you'll get why. I had no sympathy for Alice at any point in the book. In fact i hated her and still do. love the epilogue!! Overall if I wasn't so invested in the book these things wouldn't have bothered me. The author pulled me in and I saw the characters come to life. far different from most other storyline in other similar genres.

Aiden and Lily

This story spanned over 20 years between Aiden and Lily. There was so much hurt, back and forth, and love between these two. I was not sure if I wanted them together or to stay away from one another. I didn't hate this book, but at the same time I did not love it. It was an interesting story and I wanted to know what would happen.
Laurie Catherine Winkel and Tristan Wright were probably the one thing I did love about this audible, they were fantastic narrators.

Worth the time to read!

Beautifully written, LOVED Aiden and Lily’s story!!! Can’t wait to read more from Jaxson Kidman!!

I absolutely love this book. It is beyond anything anyone can ask for. They did amazing writing this. You feel every emotion they do.

It was good/ ok

I love when other books go back to the past ( back history/ childhood) however with 5 years later I didn’t. This is my 3rd time listening/ reading this book. Twice when I was a teenager now as an adult. And I think I liked it more back then than I do now… love that they had a lifetime love. Love that I felt the love that they had for one another.
Didn’t like how job quitting a lot and how didn’t really see any other relationship ( friendships for Lilly or Aiden ) yes they had “friends” but no one each of them were best friends with or through the times they were apart… kinda felt the loneliness throughout those times. The only time that I felt a little bit more emotion/ love is when Aidans brother died and he grieved during that time.

Another back and forth

I was so annoyed from back and forth from past to future. I had a hard time enjoying the story. I kept waiting for the present day. When it does, it was so short that I lost interest after one two hours of listening. I really wanted to like it and tried hard to finish it. I just couldn’t do it! The performance were the best part.

not loving it so far

I have to agree with the other reviewers. I don't know if I'm going to be able to finish listening. it's too confusing with the back & forth from past to present. I have no idea what's going on from 1 minute to the next. I think I'm going to have to give up on this author. I just finished listening to one of the others in this series & it was the same past ,present , but not as bad as this one.
