A Great Start

A great start to a new series. Kristin feels like something is missing in her life, and she is about to find out what it is the hard way. Kristin is strong and confident, but still very human in her responses.

Second chances

What a great read / listen. This is book 1 in Eaton's new series My Blood Runs Blue series and can be read / listened to as a stand alone. I wasn't sure what to expect when I stared this listen but it completely blew me away! A paranormal - vampire romance read with mystery, suspense, heartache and emotion. These main characters are so incredibly strong - I especially loved Kristin who stays true to who she is - no matter what. I love that this book is about second chances, in every aspect. Kristin finds herself in the middle of a love triangle - who will she choose? Julian or Alex - both make her blue blood boil with amazing chemistry! I can't wait for more!

Great paranormal story

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW...I have become an audiobook lover. While I love turning the pages of a good book, listening to a good book is sometimes better. I love that with a good narrator you can hear the emotions of the book, you can feel things that you may miss when reading the book yourself, and that I can multi-task while listening to an audiobook.

Stacy Eaton chose Alex Black as her narrator for My Blood Runs Blue and he was wonderful. He was able to take Stacy’s story and bring it to life. I could feel the emotions, the fear of the unknown, and the love between the characters. I listened while doing my daily walks and found that time passed quickly while I lost myself in Alex’s voice as he told me a story.

The story itself was fun. I had not lost myself in a paranormal book in a while and was excited to start My Blood Runs Blue. The storyline has some great twists and turns while keeping it real enough that I felt like the story could be happening. Kristin learns about her history, a life she did not remember anything of, and finds herself in a love triangle. It was sweet and loving bringing people who meant a lot to her back into her life at a time when she felt very much alone. The steamy attraction had me sneaking in extra time to listen while the emotions kept me invested in Kristin being happy.

Surprised and excited by this new series from SE!

First, I have loved every book I’ve ever read by Stacy Eaton. When I saw this book from SE, I automatically requested it without reading what it was about. I was surprised by the vampires....and loved every minute of it...almost. I was not a fan of the narration. Alex Black is a good narrator for a male character or 2 but not a few female characters and several males. There were several times that I didn’t know which character was speaking and had to go back to re listen and figure things out. The other thing I wasn’t too crazy about was the ending. No spoilers...I just didn’t like it. However, all of that said, even with my dislikes, I will absolutely,most definitely follow this series! Hence the 5 stars. It’s an awesome, well written story that kept me engaged from the very beginning. I finished the book in one sitting because I had to know the answers. Now, I can’t wait for the next one!!!! I received a review copy at my request and voluntarily reviewed.

Intriguing

Holy smokes never imagined Stacy writing this kind of story!!! Intriguing and intense book that knocks your socks off!!! Love surprises like this!! Keep it coming!

a life not known but still there waiting

You can find so much to enjoy with this one. It looks one way from the outside looking in. Then you get to the heart of the story. There are layers unexplored. Past, present, and the possible future will be touched by the simple act of one life taken too soon then re-born again. Kristin/Calista finds that life as she now knows it was not always the case. Past begins to encroach on here present. She finds that the life she thought she was living was only half of it all. She finds that she has lived before and that all the experiences come crashing back and a decision lays before her.

There are three men in this story. Each wanting Kristin for different reasons. One man life dulled by an act of betrayal. The other man life changed by an act of revenge. The other man just looking for a way out of the life he did not choose. There was much her to learn and consume. Watch as Kristin find out who she is now and who she was then.

I very much enjoy Stacy Eaton's works. She gives me new details and more to experience. While Alex Black brings to life the voices of each character with clarity. I have enjoyed all of Alex narrations. This one was no different. Thank you for the vivid imagery created by his voice and Stacy's words.

Second Chance

This story has a different twist on vampire lore. Officer Kristin Greene is different but she isn't sure why. Then there is a murder in her small town that introduces her to two men that can answer all her questions. Now on top of solving a murder she has to figure out who she is and which man she wants.
I liked the characters and look forward to following their progression in the series.

Well Ms Eaton, You hit this one out of the park! Love me some vampires.
When Officer Kristin Greene is in the middle of a investigation of a woman who's neck has been 'cut', strange things start happening. There's a family requesting the assistance of the VMF Securities, Kristin is confused why they would think a security company could assist with the murder investigation. When she meets Julian and Alexander she finds herself being pulled into a love triangle. She hears them refer to her as Calista. Who is she and why do they keep talking about Calista?
Ready for the next book!

Great Read

She feels as though there is something else out there for her. She winds up investigating a homicide where a young woman's throat was ripped out. While investigating, she reveals a world that she didn't know existed. She finds herself in the middle of a love triangle but doesn't understand why they keep calling her Calista. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by Stacy Eaton.

Amazing Paranormal Series!

This is the first book in the My Blood Runs Blue Series, an emotional paranormal vampire romance. This is one of my favorite paranormal Series! The characters are great and intriguing. The story is well written, intriguing, and captivating.There is a lot going on in this story. The storyline has some unexpected twists and turns, and is filled with mystery, and suspense. Alex Black did a great job with the narration. I love his voice. Looking forward to listen to The Pulse of Blue Blood, the second book in the Series.
