Publisher's Summary

Hide. That's all Pippa can do to escape the terror chasing her. But now that she's off the grid in a safe house, she finds plenty of interesting things to watch through the window. Like her new neighbor, with his startling green eyes, killer smile, and sexy bad-boy tattoo....

Run. Malcolm West is fleeing the hell he unleashed in his last assignment as an undercover cop. A backwoods bungalow sounds like the perfect place to start over. Until he discovers he's been set up....

Fight. Someone's gone to a lot of trouble to bring them together. No matter how much he resents that, and no matter his own driving needs, Malcolm will have to dig deep and let loose the banished killer inside himself, or Pippa's fears could come true faster than the flip of a bolt in a lock....

Read this!

I always love Rebecca zanetti’s romantic suspense books. This one started off a little slow, but I went back to it and am so glad I did. The characters are great and so was the storyline. I can’t wait for the next one!

This series had a bumpy start

My first issue with this novel is with the narration. Roger Wayne does not do female voices, well. I hope he doesn’t narrate the entire series. Duet narration would be awesome!

Second, It seemed to me that the author struggled to get rolling, with this series. I think the focus is supposed to be on this specialized government investigation group. Therefore, more background and introduction should have been focused on the group itself; rather than the focused investigation. This novel just seemed to go here and then there and a true focus was lacking. There is potential for a great series because the main characters are unique and pretty dang entertaining. I have faith, in this author. I know she will turn this into another great series but, this novel missed the mark.
