Publisher's Summary

A proven program from number one New York Times best-selling author and brain researcher Dr. Daniel Amen to help you change your brain and improve your memory today!

Brain imaging research demonstrates that memory loss actually starts in the brain decades before you have any symptoms. Learn the actions you can take to help not just prevent memory loss later in life...but to begin restoring the memory you may have already lost.

Expert physician Dr. Amen reveals how a multipronged strategy - including dietary changes, physical and mental exercises, and spiritual practices - can improve your brain health, enhance your memory, and reduce the likelihood that you'll develop Alzheimer's and other memory loss-related conditions.

Keeping your brain healthy isn't just a medical issue; it's a God-given capacity and an essential building block for physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Take action against the fast-increasing memory crisis that threatens this crucial part of who you are - and help your brain, body, and soul stay strong for the rest of your life.

Good Information

What did you like best about Memory Rescue? What did you like least?

It is good information with useful ways to approach making changes to improve our brains. If you are new to this information, this is vital. If you are familiar with Dr Amen's work, there is some new and some old information. I was disappointed that it wasn't read by Dr. Amen as his previous books.

You should have both Audible and Hard Copy!

I prefer books read to me but this one has so much information you need to return to and visualize that if you had to choose one - get the hard copy. Plenty of medications and tips you won’t want to write it all out! It’s worth it to have both! Life changing information!! Loved it! And I tell everyone!

I like it very much, but I miss the PDF attachment

Where does Memory Rescue rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I like all Dr. Amen's books, and I recommend them to all interested. This one is no exception. I just wish it had the PDF attachment with some of the information. I hope Dr. Amen will have them attached here soon.

What other book might you compare Memory Rescue to and why?

I read his "Magnificent mind at any age", which is more broad. This one focuses on memory, specifically. I find both equally useful.

Have you listened to any of L. J. Ganser’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I'm not sure. i need to check my other audio books.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Control Center.

Any additional comments?

When it comes to mental health, there is no one i trust as much as Dr, Amen. I just recommended him to a couple of people at my church who I thought could benefit from his help.

Long infomercial

Not worth the time.
Very repetitive without really saying anything. It is like listening to a long infomercial.

Don't waste your time or money

I was looking for something that would help me help my friend's family member who MAY be suffering from Alzheimer's disease. But this book is nothing more than an advertisement for the writer's business. It is also 'snakeoil'. I've listened to two chapters and that's enough of my time to have wasted. I'm returning it.
