DEFINITELY not worth 2 credits!
As of now, this book costs 2 credits, by the time you read this, maybe it will only be 1 credit. I was intrigued by the title and subject, and a bit skeptical.
I should've been more skeptical and I should've gone to the authors website before I made the purchase. He is a vitamin salesman and the entire basis of his book is based on science that isn't peer reviewed. Do a search for him at quackwatch.org and there is an article or two about him.
Oh, and his medical degree is from Oral Roberts University, which isn't exactly known for "science".
All that to say, the book seems to be based on thin science and suggests lots of generalities and things such as instead of drinking lots of alcohol, instead maybe try having meaningful conversation with someone. Okay.

Go Buy some vitamins..better yet BUY my FORMULAS special for your brain type from my web site? by the way ask your doctor first and la DI DA.....BUNK if ive ever seen it. sure the vitamins are good for you and sure they shown to give "some" improvement and then a good testamonial from a person experiencing the placebo effect.
Very Sketchy, Not Peer Reviewed, Do take ur Vitamins but dont expect them to change your life. not worth the buy.

Outstanding
Dr. Amen's work is incredible. His understanding of the brain and how it affects everything we do is insightful, intriguing and a gift to the world. This is information everyone needs. If you're struggling with your weight, this book will give you a unique perspective on why you struggle and offer strategies for overcoming the battle. I just tried a couple of the supplements recommended by Dr. Amen, (not sold by him, by the way), and it helped my energy and motivation immensely. Even if you're not that interested in weight loss, the information provided in this book is important and very interesting. The stuff on head injuries is incredibly intriguing. I recommend anything by Dr. Amen. This man knows what he's talking about!

Enlightening; Good Listen
The book was packed with valuable information easy to understand and easy to take notes. I also purchased the hard copy as reference. The book is legitimate and so is the Arthur Dr. Amen.
People suffering with weight and health issues can benefit from the book. The book clarifies many brain dysfunctions and gives insight into mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety. Read it you wont be disappointed; very informative.

Would you listen to Change Your Brain, Change Your Body again? Why?
I read some of the reviews and I am frankly puzzled by anyone who would say that this book is "not worth 2 credits". It is your LIFE. What are you willing to pay to be healthy? As a healthcare provider I will definitely listen to this book again. It is packed with useful information to help us keep our brains AND our bodies healthy. I am not sure what is more important. Thank you Dr. Amen for doing your due diligence and publishing this information which if utilized, will save many many lives and increase other's quality of life.
I personally recommend this and your other books regularly in my practice.

Marc has a pleasant voice and makes the information both pleasing and interesting. I have listened to some who narrate good books but have a grating voice. This is not one.

Loaded with immediately usable info!
Great source of info on new discoveries about how the brain works and more importantly, how to help it work better! Dr. Amen is busy with a commercial enterprise based on this info but it doesn't make the information any less faithful to the research sources who produced it in the first place. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in improving how clearly they perceive what's around them and how to best remain interactive with it.

So much great information
This book has so much great information that I’ve listened to it many times. Every time I listen, I pick up a bits and pieces that I didn’t get the first 10 times. Dr Amen really inspired me to take far better care of my brain. Narrator really brought the words to life for me. Definitely recommend.
