Enjoyed this

Very similar to what I was expecting when I got it. I think this book provides a lot of good information. There was one chapter I found a little hard to follow, but that's because they used a lot of difficult words. The medical world has its own language, doesn't it? Either way, great book. You can learn a lot about yourself if you study the human brain. The reasons why we do things stem from the brain, always.

Excellent performance

I appreciated the narrative of the female producer, as well as the enormous amount of valuable information about the human brain, the frontal cortex, and other related topics. Highly recommended.

Nothing wrong with this one!

This is an amazing book, so if you're trying to find something wrong with it, you'll be fooled. I listened to all of this information about our brains and soaked it up like a sponge. Great content. Nice to listen to when you're in the car or in the train.

Bit technical and hard to follow

The book was a little bit technical, and the terms kept throwing me off. It might make sense if you’re a psychologist or a psychiatrist. But it’s not for casual listening.

Good audiobook

The narrator was great and the provided information is useful. Recommend to anyone who is interested in human behaviour.

Interesting information

This title peaked my interest, and it paid off. The low price made the 45 minute short-read (or listen) totally worth it. Martin Howard touches on the effects of a smaller frontal lobe, the different regions in the brain, and how we are controlled by this complex area in our head.

Wow!

Even though I enjoyed the narrative by Natalie, I would say the grant power of this book lies in the content and informational anecdotes. Martin Howard has done a wonderful job in just 45 minutes to describe the frontal lobe, the overlapping definition of the prefrontal cortex, its functions, and its importance in our lives. I recommend this book because it gives you greater insights in the anatomy of the human brain, which is something I was always interested in anyway, but I think by understanding this concept, based on science, one could very well have more control over appetites, emotions, etc.

Interesting book

I love books like this, with information about the human brain and the most important ways to control ourselves.
